Holy cow! Haven't had a drop like this in a LONG time! Not sure what happened! I was so anxious to hit 170 as that is the major milestone of 50 lbs loss!! Now I'm in the 160's, which I haven't seen since my 20's!!!

Laura THANK YOU FOR A MENU SAMPLE! I Love the flat out pizza. I was eating them on my "other" diet. but bbq chicken style. I had 2 last week with Canadian bacon and pep.

Do any of you have a "cleaner" way to cook bacon. I loathe cooking it. I usually use the microwave kind however its more expensive. I took bacon out of the freezer the other day and waiting to cook tomorrow. I LOVE BACON! And I remember eating a ton of it last time I did low carb. So I'm going to buy more and cook it all one day. I just hate the grease spatter mess!

I wish I had a diary of what I did years ago to drop weight like crazy! I was asking my coworkers and they said lots of eggs and bacon LOL! and salads too. I used to count my gum as 1 carb and never went over 20. Trying to get that will power back. Dang baby killed my body. LOL!!! no he is a little blessing. After my daughter was born I loss 60lbs. doing low carb in 2005. I weighed 180. Met my husband in 2006 I weighed 193. We got married in 2008 I weighed 203 (he liked to wine and dine me) lol. Started trying to get pregnant weighed 211 - took fertility drugs weighed 221 had my baby in 2011 I think I weighed somewhere around 250 - I had sciatica so bad I couldn't walk and high risk preg. so never got that final weight. LOL thank god! Restarted low carb 225. so here I go!!!!!

Congrats to all the losers!! Will be going to the gym in a few to see if I loss any of that gain.

Hi everyone- not sure if anyone remembers me but I was a part of the feb and march challenges and still recognize a few faces here.

I am reinducting for a solid 2 weeks until our vacation, where I will stay low carb but will allow a few things I normally don't like cold cuts, diet soda and fruit.

Hoping induction will help get rid of a few pounds. I have been stuck at about the same weight since March and really need to get moving!

Thanks so much for still being here, and congrats Julie! Your loss is a such a motivator

Hello!

Hello, I am new to this thread. I have read all of your posts and think this will be a good thread to follow!

I have been on induction since July 1st. I am doing everything I can to keep insulin from "turning on" as I am a 41 yo who has developed a problem with my abdominal area, which I have never had a problem with before so I am thinking overproduction of insulin is what is causing it. I even cut out caffeine which I read in atkins book may stimulate insulin release.

I will admit I am SO (so tired) tired. I read to drink broth and take a multivitamin should help this so I did so today. AND I managed to get the xbox out and move (just a little!). Any advice is welcomed! I cannot wait to get to the weight yall are!!

Start weight 203.8. My goal for this month is 195.

Thank you all for the well wishes for my husband. He is doing better and I will have him back home soon. I love the support we have here.

I started strict induction yesterday and hit the gym. I also hit the gym after work again today. Had bullet proof coffee for breakfast and a low carb shake and 1/2 Atkins bar for lunch. Had tuna salad and 1 slice of double fiber bread for dinner.

Remembered my pills today!!! So my weight should be down tomorrow. Now if I can start remembering them everyday. Also BBQed today, did hamburgers, brats, steaks, and chicken. Should keep the roommate and I for a few days.

Happy 4th of July! We are having 3 families come over for a BBQ today. We are doing chicken, smoked sausage, corn on the cob, SF cole slaw, mock potato salad (made with cooked cauliflower), deviled eggs, cheese/crackers, and baked beans. Can't wait! This is one of my favorite holidays and I can't wait for fireworks tonight!

Weight bounced a bit, but I expected it. Tomorrow we hit the road for Missouri so won't be able to weigh for over a week. It is going to drive me crazy!

Hope everyone has a safe and LC holiday!!! Thanks again for all the support!

Good morning everyone and Happy July 4th. We do are going out for a BBQ with friends so lots of good low carb food to be had. I have to NOT drink!!!!

My daughter is visiting this week from CA and it's already been too much eating out, my face is so bloated this morning, but the slight blip in the scale (and face) tells me it's just water, so hopefully I'll see a nice whoosh in a few days.
