I started January 17th at 191.
I'd like to lose atleast 4 lbs.... Edited to lose 8lbs since I already met my original goal.
May 31 170.
June 1 170.
June 2 170. 3 days off soda, also taking a break from my supplements...
June 3 170 12 carbs today hope lower carbs will make the scale move...
June 4th 167!!! Finally kicked my stall!!
June 6th 167 it's staying off, looks like I'm a 15 carb a day to lose weight...
June 7th 166, I've made up for the month now 4 more lbs for June?
June 9th 166, waterpark yesterday tons of fun... Even though I'm pmsing I haven't gained, so maybe ill have a loss after?

Yay for me!!! Finished my first week lc with my first 5k run this morning!!! My time was 43 minutes, but I did it!!! I was soo scared that on top of weighing 100 pounds extra , I would be pooped from the nill carbs that I was eating, but I did it and I have never felt better! I love my new energy! I want to scream from a rooftop I am so happy with me and its been way too long since I have said that! This is just the beginning for newtanya!

Whoops I've been really too busy to check in here, but I started at 218 and had a weekend trip where I was walking and active every day... then dropped to 214. Weird! I'm desperately trying to kick the "carb creep"! And my goal was to work out 3 x a week. I'm still building up to that point.

Question: When did you guys start to feel a change in your body? I've lost about 15 lbs so far but not sure if I feel any different...

I took progress pics, the only way I would have ever noticed a difference, even though I've dropped from a tight 20 to a nice 12, I don't see a smaller me in the mirror, but I definitely see a huge difference in the pics.

Dipsey I really didn't notice much change in my body till around 20 lbs lost or so. Others would say they could tell but I just couldn't seem to.
I'd definetly take progress pics And measure. It helps

First started Atkins April 1, 2002.
Lost 40 pounds back then and maintained for almost 8 years...then carb creep crept. I've always been low carb, but went hard core again in March 2012.

My breeder is originally from Houston, but is now in Indiana. She bred Cole, the #1 Kom in the nation right now. She also is showing my girl's littermate and he is doing great. One of the reasons she wants to breed our girl. Yaz has the goofiest, sweetest personality, but the guard dog sure does come out when somebody comes over.

I know some breeders in Virginia. They have great dogs. Nice thing about the Kom world is that they are so rare, everybody pretty much knows who all the breeders are.

OK I have to tell the truth I ate two cookies yesterday in bed, I got out of my bed and ate them..they were good cookies' homemade ones by my dutch mother in law...she brought them over for the kids, and I tried yes I did but not hard enough, so today I,m back at work and eating clean, and drinking water, I never drink enough...I'm still not sleeping well..need some advise....

Shelly, you're so so close to the 140's, you'll be there any day now. My body is doing the same thing as yours.....only 100 pounds heavier. LOL. I can't seem to break past the 250 mark into the 240's. I can't wait, because it means I'll finally have LESS than 100 pounds to lose. It will happen for us though. I know it will, as long as we stay the course.

I'm seeing so many people close to their goals already, and the month isn't even half over! YAY!! KUTGW everyone!!

DQ, hope your dad is doing better and starting to heal. That's got to be hard on you and him both.

Well knew that wasn't going to last. Did a lot of yard work this weekend and was dehydrated, now Tom Have had the worst head aches and hot and cold flashes over the last 3 days. Hopefully now that Tom is here that will stop and I can get back down. Eating well though. Tonight is girls night out, but I will stick to it.

Had less than 1000 calories each the past two days and yesterday had 21.4 Net carbs. That 1.4 carb really made a difference, stayed about the same but didn't lose.

havent weighed in since Friday had a busy weekend and ate off plan - a little bit.
But today so far so good. All low carb and even cooked up some hb eggs and bacon last night to always have a go to food. No excuses. I've got 3 pairs of goal capris i bought a few months ago. I even tried them on (my new thing is if it doesn't fit don't buy it) and they fit when i bought them and i've gained since. They are hanging with tags on waiting for me to wear them. And the hot weather is happening here in socal. So annoying!!! If i could just stick to it for two weeks i could wear them!

Anyways. So happy for the good results that i've been reading. It's a process that can be tough for all of us. I love posting and keeping myself accountable. I've done it before, i can do it again.

Maybe we can start posting some daily menus. Just to give those of us that may be struggling some ideas of what to eat from those that are losing.

So, today was my Dr. Appt, the good new is that my labs are all AWESOME! My cholesterol is 155!!! I just had to laugh at that. According to current medical wisdom, my cholesterol should be about 800!! LOL All I eat is meat, eggs, and cheese. Absolutely everything was in the ideal range.

The funny thing is, my Dr. approves of Atkins, and has told me it's great, but she wants me to make lower fat choices. Like more fish and chicken instead of red meat and bacon. I just had to laugh. I'm down 50 pounds, and my labs are all perfect..... so I should change what I'm doing? No way!

The bad news was that my cancer is still there. I found out I had cervical cancer in November. They did one surgery, and thought they got it all, but apparently not. So it's back to the specialist in Phoenix to see what the next course of treatment will be. Honestly, I'm not stressed about it. I'm sure it will be fine and we'll get it figured out and go from there. In the meantime, I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing and keep the weight going DOWN!!
