Congrats to Moniruth and everyone else who lost weight or stayed on plan!

I felt like I ate everything LC in sight yesterday. I could not satisfy my hunger all day. Very weird! It is scary how sensitive my body is now to extra calories. I really didn't eat a significant amount of food compared to normal people, it was just more than I normally eat now. I also skipped dinner last night hoping to compensate and worked out on the treadmill. Oh well! Hopefully it goes back down fast!

definetly retaining fluid this morning. Not sure why because I was very LC yesterday.

I didn't get my calories up high enough yesterday. Ate too many veggies, so carb count was up there (tomato and celery), and some protein but need to add more fat. I only had 688 calories yesterday. Not very hungry, so hard to get those calories in. My problem is that I have an egg intolerance when eaten plain. Ok in baked goods, but anytime I eat scrambled, fried, etc, I get a terrible stomachache. So getting enough protein has been a challenge. I grilled a bunch of chicken breasts yesterday to put in salads, so I hope that helps.

Finally broke through, I think! Hopefully the scale is more accommodating this week. Have to get a quick shower and get dressed for yoga in an hour. Made a spinach and sausage quiche like thingy last night, had that for breakfast, was pretty good. Now I have breakfast all week with no effort.

Well I managed to stay pretty much on plan today. Had a LC bar for breakfast and then after the funeral I had another one cause it was a Long Long funeral and I was starved! Then about an hr or so later after the burial we all went back to the cabin. Didn't have a clue what they had fixed but Thankfully they had smoked chicken. Plus potato salad, baked beans etc. I stuck w/ the chicken only. Yay me! Lol! Especially Yay cause I stayed away from the desert table! Lol! Brought home leftover chicken so that's for supper. It was So good! Didn't get to drink as much water as I wanted but i'm getting in as much as I can now.

I am back down to where I began this month. I was very strict yesterday and even measured my HWC and only allowed 2 tbsp for the day. I had never measured it and always guessed I was using about 2 tbsp. However, I was probably putting closer to 4-5 tbsp in my coffee now that I see what 2 tbsp really looks like. Will see if measuring now will have any impact. Thankfully the water weight from my extra LC eating the last few days is gone!

It is treadmill day for me. Still doing it every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and I'm now up to 8% incline for 3 miles. I never thought this would happen, but I look forward to it now because it is truly "me time" and I love how I feel afterwards. It always raises my spirits and puts me in a better mood (which is really helpful when the scale is not moving or it is moving in the wrong direction).

Not sure yet what we're going to do today. Chance of rain so likely not a good pool day. Got a few hours at the pool yesterday once it finally stopped raining. The weather has been weird this summer! Have a great day everyone!

Morning everyone!
Thanks. For all the good thoughts and orayers for my dad...it's a rough road. At least he's not in such terrible pain. But the anesthesia and morphine made him hallucinate badly. It's complicated. He wants to leave the hospital yesterday, and doesn't realize that he's not going anywhere very soon. Sigh.
We had a great gig at HonFest yesterday...my sister went back to where my dad lives and will be with him today and i'll go back tomorrow. I'm working today.
I had toppings from pizza slices yesterday, and weight is up, but i'm not worried....the dress i wore for our concrt last night looked great and i'm fitting into smaller clothes this week compared to last week!

Lost 40 pounds back then and maintained for almost 8 years...then carb creep crept. I've always been low carb, but went hard core again in March 2012.

1 hour on treadmill on "fat burn" setting - made my 10,000 daily step goal. Reached my daily goal of 25 stairs too. Was able to do 15 flights in one set without stopping (better than any stairmaster and logs on my fitbit )

Fitness is improving as before I could only do 3 or 4 flights previously without huffing and puffing. Yeah Healthy Eating and Exercising!!

Love this board to keep me accountable. It has made so much difference in my motivation! Thanks all for tolerating me!!!!!

Bought a pair of really cute "1st goal" pants yesterday - one size smaller. Hope to comfortably wear them to my 1st day back at work at the end of the summer (work at a school). When I can fit in them, I have reached my first goal. Will have 4 more sizes to go after that before I am at final goal. Since I am the quintessential 'pear' with all my weight in my hips, stomach and thighs, pants are the best indicator of my inch loss.

Water, too many LC foods, bleh! Oh well, Yoga kicked my ass yesterday and was great, even though I was exhausted all day. Don't think it was the work out though, just my chronic sleep disorder catching up to me. Had a nap and still went to bed by 11pm!

Couldn't sleep today. I think I was too excited to get up and weigh today. I weigh twice a day when I get up and go potty and then at night (ok well 8am) before I go to bed to see how much it changed during the day... knew there was gonna be a whoosh today!!!!!
