Hi all!!! Restarting the message boards. Been off for quite a while. Been up and down the same 15-20 lbs. for a year. I'm over it!

June 1 222
June 3 225 (hubby getaway bday weekend)
June 6 221

I finished up the strawberries and trying to do strict lnduction. I have upcoming dinner for my mom on Sat. at a steakhouse so i should be able to stick to it and a big school event for my daughter on Sunday (icecream social they are calling it) But i should be ok. And if I stray then on Monday i will be right back on track. Tomorrow i will be doing some cooking. When i have the foods prepared i don't stray. Will be making some hamburger patties, bacon, and i have some frozen filet mignon to defrost and cook too. I love meat!!! and i love eggs!!! oh and tuna, chicken, lol. I usually do fine and i hold myself accountable when i blog here on the forums. Looking forward to a great induction. And getting to know all of you.

Bf: tuna with mayo and atkins shake (will no longer be having shakes for the next two weeks)
S1: cucumber with ranch drizzled on top and mini baby bel cheese.
L: lettuce, cucumber, cheese, avocado with cilantro ceasar dressing and quarter of tomato with some leftover boneless beef country ribs (but they were marinated in bbq sauce! ) last 4 oz.
S2: probably the rest of the tuna can with mayo
Dinner: Keilbasa - i know i shouldn't be having this these two weeks but we are visiting a friend tonight and i have two kids (2 & 9) and i just have to heat and eat. We will be out later than ususal.

I remember when i lost 60 lbs in 2005 (all year) i stayed under 20 carbs - not net carbs just 20 carbs. and it worked. and it works. I even counted gum lol i was obsessed!

Now i just have to get back into that mental frame of mind. I have a hubby now and two kids. Just makes it harder. It was just me and my daughter during my weight loss and she was an infant.

My body is still being stupid! But I have 3 days off so I'm willing to compromise.

Still debating on the fitbit, I'll probably order it by the end of the weekend and take back the thing I bought.

I figure if the scale shows an increase in muscle and a decrease in fat (hopefully) after 30 days of working out and yoga 6 days a week, I'll feel it was worth the $50, even if my body weight stays stubbornly the same. I know I can feel my body changing.

TriniGirl, I know I have that problem a few days before TOM, sometimes it will even last a week! Stay strong and you'll be so glad you did. Read all the posts that you can. That really truly does help keep me focused. One day I even had the Milky Way IN MY HAND! Thankfully, I regained my senses and put it down before I opened it. You can do this!!

hi Everyone,
Weight is still the same for me. I will probably go up tomorrow, I has a frozen yogurt tonight! I'm sorry, just wanted it. I have been doing very good, but have been working so hard, physically, with my work. I don't know if I mentioned it, but I have a Housecleaning business. I have been working many hours, and having a hard time getting my personal time organized. We just got news that my Husband's cousin died in a car crash today. This is another thing added to our out of control busy schedule. I apologize, just needed to express and vent.
Thru daily schedules, I have been doing good with my food choices, except for this yogurt tonight
My weight is still the same, I haven't been logging daily stat...I'm just overloaded

June 1st - 6th. .... 161.4
Everything in me says 'Forget it, just stay Fat' but that is not what I REALLY want...I won't quit

Not a great month so far!!! Up a pound today. Met a friend at Chick-Fil-A for a play date for my son last night and had a grilled chicken club minus the bun. That was the only out of the ordinary thing I had yesterday. Having Thai for lunch with friends today so hopefully that doesn't jack me up too. I always get the Tom Kha Gai (chicken coconut milk soup) and it usually doesn't impact me. Fingers crossed......

I hope everyone has a great day. Hang in there everyone!!!

I have today off, yay! Making breakfast now, then I'll get going to the gym for an hour, then come home to motivate the houseboy to go out with me shopping lol.

The scale is still my nemesis, but I feel good! Went to yoga last night, every time is so different. We did flow style, which is move move move apparently. It was good though.

Good Morning All. I knew the scale would go up today. I had a couple of slices of the Julian bakery's Zero Carb bread before I read the reviews here that said the nutrition info was not correct.

And I agree with the other reviews: Nasty stuff. Went straight into the garbage.

I also cheated and had a handful of cashews when I was making cashew chicken for the family. Thought I was strong enough to resist, guess not

Started induction on June 3:
Goal: 179.7

June 3: 184.7
June 4: 180.4
June 5: 179.6 - reached goal for June. New goal - 176.7
June 6: 176.6 - do I dare set another goal? Oh what the heck: 174.7 (10 lbs)
June 7: 179.5 - at least I stayed under my original June goal.

So many worse things you could have cheated with! I think you're doing great.

And if you just started induction, a 10 lb goal the first month is definitely attainable. Good luck!

Thanks. It has been less than a week and what I love is my tastebuds are already changing. Just made my coffee with my usual packet of splenda and just tasted it - way, way too sweet. Next cup will be with just the heavy cream.

Same! I noticed that too, walking through the produce now smells like heaven, and fruit is so much sweeter, like candy. It's amazing how we adapt and change so fast, when we give ourselves a chance.

It's happening....

Happy Friday!!!

June 3: 175
June 4: 174.8
June 5: 172.4
June 7: 171.6

It has been a challenging week. But, it's happening. I haven't see this number is a while. I can feel my body adjusting. I still have cravings, but I'm focused on the long term. My stomach is super flat. I feel leaner. I hope week two brings me into the 160s.

Thank you so much for this supportive space to share.

Goal this month is 168.

Hi everyone.... I've had a couple of wacky days...didn't weigh today because had had to get up at 7am in order to go to the eastern sho..my dad broke his hip yesterdy. Grah. He's very frail. And it took most of the day to determine wheter he could have the surgery. he DID have the surgery and so far so good. came back tonight for a gig...going back tomorriw, and then a gig in Baltimore. Eating was easy..had a slice of bacon from the hospital cafetia in the morning and had some collard greens and salad greens for lunch. The collard greens were deelicious! So it wasn't difficult to be low carb in the hospital!

Lost 40 pounds back then and maintained for almost 8 years...then carb creep crept. I've always been low carb, but went hard core again in March 2012.
Hey! You don't have to drink all that water!
