That's what I have been craving and I gave in for my B-Day... was only gonna eat 4 but I ate all 8 of them puppies!!!!! I'm sure it will show up tomorrow.

Good morning everyone! I'm visiting my dad in the hospital, then back to DC to go imto work... Thank you everyone for your good thoughts re my dad... He may be stable enough to go home with home health care next week, i have many questions, thou, so we,ll see.

Didn't weigh but will tomorrow. Dang, my goal is to weigh less than 140!!!
My legs are super skinny, no butt, but i still have fat around my middle. It just HAS to go.
Way to go shelly! And my best wishes to you, mthrgoos.

All is well here. Been eating out a lot this week, which has been a struggle for me. I've been good but I am eating more than I am used to. My hubby was deprived of great food during his year in Kabul so he wants to make up for lost time! Tonight we went to Famous Dave's BBQ and I had some yummy pulled pork and broccoli. That was fine but then he wanted to go get some Milwaukee Frozen Custard. I fully intended to just watch them eat it but they had a low carb frozen custard so i got a small cup. I tried to find nutrition info for it online with no luck. It was delicious but I fear I'm over my 20 grams for today. I certainly feel bloated as I was already full after the BBQ dinner!

We are Still dealing with our vehicle! No one is taking responsibility for damaging it so I am afraid we are going to be the ones who have to pay for it! Makes so Mad and sick! Shelly, so sorry about your car! That is very frustrating! My dad lives in southern Missouri right on the Arkansas border and there is a chain called Andy's Frozen Custard that sells a sugar free version. I wonder if there is one near you?? It is yummy!

Good Morning Everyone! Finally down a couple of pounds!! It's funny, I looked back through my stats and I've lost 7 pounds this month, but 3 of those have been this week. I eat pretty much the same thing every day, I do pretty much the same thing every day, so there's no rhyme or reason to it. I guess it's just one more proof that we have to trust the process, regardless of what the scale says, and it WILL happen. It's just so frustrating at times when we're relying on that scale as verification that it's working.

Shelly, I'm so sorry about your car. That's got to be so stressful to be dealing with. (((HUGS)))

DQ, Good luck tonight!!! Hope your dad and puppy are doing well today. Keeping you all in my thoughts.

Julie, we don't have any place like that here either, but I sure wish we did. With the temps getting up close to 120 already, it would be awesome to have some ice cream type of treat.

I've been considering having a cheat meal and dessert on the night before my surgery, but I'm not sure yet. I'm so scared that it's going to be almost impossible to lose after they do the surgery that maybe I just need to stay on track with no cheats. I'm also worried about eating in the hospital. I know from my experience a few weeks ago when they took my gallbladder out, that all they give you is sugar filled crappy food. At least the hospital I was in. But maybe I won't really feel like eating any way? Can you tell I'm stressed about this already? LOL

MtherGoos - can you make arrangements before you go for the food. The last time I was in the hospital they had a menu you could order from like going out to eat. Talk with your doctor that could infulance it also.

Mthrgoos. I hope they will provide you with LC food this time around. They were Supposed to me but didn't! Please don't let yourself get to freaked out about losing weight after surgery, it might be slower for awhile while your body heals but the Good LC foods will help you heal faster. Huge Hugs sweetie!!

June Ist 150lbs. I know its stress tons of it in the pass few days.
June 2nd 149lbs so here we go.

June 17th 148lbs I knew it...how do one's body gain and lose two pounds in a day....I knew I had more than usual to eat..all low carb, the children did salads and bbq meats and I did not eat the yummy cake my daughter baked for her Dad...not even a lick of the frosting....

Mthergoos, everything will be good, you have a find example in Shelly who has gone through what you are going through and has lost the weight and continue to inspire us all with her daily scale results. Shelly I'm finding the 140's the most difficult. Down one day, up the other, it's almost like some sort of war in my body.. you and I will counter this like our good friend DQ...
Laura I swear that you are shrinking this month, another pound gone, I can't tell you how happy I am for you
DQ hope all went well last night...
The scale and our bodies are a fickle thing, and sometimes I just feel to chuck the scale into my pond never to be seen again, but I know that some days the readings are not pleasing to me it makes me want to press on and that I have to come post the results here keeps me from giving up.
