Looks great!

I had terrible insomnia after a car alarm woke me at 2am this morning.. I was starving too - so at 4am gave up and had a bowl of shreddies (slaps own head).

But weight in was 190lb so that is 2.5lb down on yesterday morning - so back on track rest of the day and fingers x'd not too much damage done.

Will be weighing in later this morning. Mom was in emergency room yesterday. all ok now but needless to say I jumped out of bed and was off to the hospital. I got one of those amazing coffees which I figured oh well I want it and i'm stressed. I also had a atkins bar in my purse. By the time I got home at 1:30 it was all I could do not to eat the house. Two tortillas later filled with carne asada, green peppers, cheese and a spoonful of refried beans, then pizza for dinner. you get the picture. I was so not prepared for yesterday. Today back on track. Another busy day - dance rehearsal for my daughter from 3-?? so I need to pack low carb snack eat some chicken salad before I go and maybe a string cheese or two in my purse. - Repeat again tomorrow. lol.

hi everyone
thanks mthrgoose and trini for asking about my dad and dog.
dog - not much response to antibiotics and prednisone, so she goes back to the neurologist tomorrow.
my dad- health continues to deteriorate and he gets weaker, but he is starting to drink and eat a tiny bit.

SO -- i've been sleeping on the floor at my dad's house (i PREFER it to a bed sometimes) and I haven't had a chance to weigh, which i will do tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!!! Let's see -- OH I FOUND a great new taste treat! I've been eating Utz salt and vinegar pork rinds (it took me years to get over the mental barriers to eating pork rinds - ever since i found one with the pink stamp on it. ugh....) which are delicious because they are not greasy and they are wonderfully vinegary. Anyway, in the little gas station minimart near my house i found utz CRACKLINS! they are smaller than pork rinds, darker, and really crunchy. really really good!

Welcome to all the new posters. I love this site to keep myself accountable. So far no snack. Full from breakfast which is a good thing. Will only eat when hungry. Have some good crockpot chuck roast for lunch and some zuchinni and squash.

DQ -I've been looking for some real cracklins... they have the crunchy bits but they also have these melt in your mouth fat bits... just heaven. Especially if you can get them when they are still warm..... to die for!!!!!!! I used to live in the "hood" but since I've moved to MO I don't know where to go to get them.. might have to take a trip back to Indiana to get them....

Good morning all! I didn't get back here last night to finish my menu so I'm adding it here today.

Notes:

The 5 miles nearly killed me so when we got back home around 6pm there was no way I wanted to eat. I was so hot and actually thought I would toss my figurative cookies. I kept thinking of Jillian Michaels who says "Unless you puke, faint, or die, keep going!" She cracks me up!

I'm down 1.4 pounds this morning! Eating clean (no Atkins products and no diet sodas, no non inductions food), drinking my water and exercise works! So YIPPEE!!! I'll be back at goal weight in no time!

I've stepped away from the scale, it has been all over the place since I started the kettlebell training. We've just completed week 3 but had to miss class on Monday, so these pics are after 4 classes. Not a huge change but I can see it and am so glad I thought to take the pictures

Well, losing the pounds I gained. so going in the right direction. I just wish I could get back down faster and where I was a few months ago. (216) was my lowest since my son was born and he just turned 2!! lol. Anyways. Staying on plan today.

B: 5 lil sausages (last of the bag) 4 oz chicken with mayo and a pickle spear
S: - salad : romaine lettuce, bacon, avocado and broccoli slaw with cilantro ceasar dressing I made a medium salad to split between snacks so its ready to eat while at work
L: chuck roast with zucchini and squash
s: second half of the salad if hungry.
D: chuck roast with ??? prob just the meat.

Hello everyone! My dog went to the neurologist and he said that she has improved since he last saw her (even though it doesn't look like an improvement to me). She may also have an inner ear infection so she got some meds for that. Here's hoping.
My dad now has Cdiff and is isolated. Actually, this is something you probably don't want to know about, but there is something that works very well for CDiff- it's called a fecal transplant. I am not making it up and i'm totally serious. The FDA just last week dropped all restrictions on the -- er -- procedure.

I stayed home last night and was able to weigh this morning.

Hi Everybody, YAY, Laura!!! Awesome Whoosh!!!!!

Got the news today that they are going to do a hysterectomy. I'm not really too too worried about it, I'm more worried about how it will affect me after. Losing weight is already hard, and slower than it used to be, so what's it going to be like after. Shelly, you're good inspiration that it can be done, I just hope I have your strength and determination!

had more carbs in dinner than in over three days normal.... but the pizza hut wings were soooooooooooooooooooo goooooooooooooooddddddddddd I couldn't stop myself!!!!
