Morning everyone! Still feeling half a asleep. Our Car decided to break down last night on a back country road! I was coming home from the grocery store and the Transmission went out on my Hyundai! (that is what we Think the problem is anyway lol) Thank God for road side asst! And for my Knight in shining armour husband coming to resuce me Lol! guess that stress And not getting to eat much supper helped bring the scale down this morning Lol!

I was cheating and you cant cheat period!

Luv I started eatting more eggs and bacon! I have eggs for breakfast, then something like a smallish salad with grilled chicken for lunch and then eggs and bacon for supper. I am guessing the Upped fat intake is what's helping me start losing again. Oh and Water! I know some say ya don't have to drink a lot But for me and MY body it helps.

Thank you!! I am making bacon tonight. I had to eat up the turkey bacon. Oh and eggs. I have plenty of them. I remember before I used to eat like 3 eggs and 4 bacon a sitting. Will start trying that again.

I get burned out on them after awhile but right now i'm Loving them. Lol!
Today i'm Starving! I had a good sized salad with hot wings cut up on top but dang I could eat a Horse right now! Course that'd be gross But it's Meat! Lol!!

Good morning low carb friends. I'm a returning monthly poster. I've been, well, eating badly and allowing stress to rule my diet and fitness. I began my weight loss adventure in October of 2011 and over a year lost 80 pounds. I went from 240 to 160. I actually saw 159 once! LOL! I ran a road race and finished 11th in my class. I wore a 9/10. I attribute my success to Atkins, the gym and this board. So, I'm going back to what I know works. Today, I'm looking at 190 on the scale and wearing 14's and haven't seen the inside of a gym in months.

I never gave up Atkins, but have been half on and half off for at least six months. Doing that I think may be worse than giving it up altogether. I'm recommitting today to eat clean and get back to running. The race I ran in last year is coming up in August and I just have to run in it again. At this point I don't even think I could run if bigfoot was chasing me! Not good!

START WEIGHT 10/1/11
240 LBS

GOAL REACHED 9/1/12
160 LBS

RESTART 6/1/13
190 LBS

My plan is to eat clean. No Atkins bars or shakes (gonna be rough). No nuts, cocoa roasted or otherwise. No diet Pepsi (also gonna be rough). I plan to eat as much as I need to in order to be FULL so I don't backslide for now. After I get the sugar cravings under control I'll work on portions. Also, stepping up the water and exercise.

Breakfast:
3 Eggs, fried
6 Sausage links

Lunch:

Dinner:

Snacks:

Water:

Exercise:

I need to see if my old posts are still here so I can see what I was eating when I was losing the best. Have a great day all!

Thanks Laura, they were so good that I wasn't even sure if they actually counted as Fat Bombs! LOL I am trying to eat them somewhat sparingly, I don't want to do anything that will set off cravings.

The scale finally dropped or me today. Not a huge Whoosh, but it did go down 1.2 pounds, so I'm thankful for that! We spent the day out on the boat yesterday, it was 115 here, so I got a little bit sunburned. I was fully expecting the scale to go up today, because I figured with the sunburn I would be retaining water. The scale makes no sense to me at all. LOL

One little NSV is that I got to wear a new swimsuit yesterday when we went out. My suit from last year was a size 24, and the one I'm wearing now is an 18!

Just feeling to everything in site, my daughter left this morning for a class trip, this is her first time away from us, and it never get any easier to let your babies go, even with all the times to of older boys leaving for university and now living on their own it's not easy..and she is my only girl and baby..it going to be a LNG week.

Shelly I was so sorry to read about your car, I hope that it has not been too expensive, we had vehicle problems recently band it's difficult and expensive...but I can see that even with all the stress you have kept on plan and doing well

lovetolift and strgzrlily, I always say the same to any one new to posting here:- this is a wonderful site for support and friendship, I so get that when we are not eating right we also don't treat any aspect of our life well, we don't take care of ourselves at all..when I don't feel to sick to eating on my plan I also don't want to post..because then I have to face my truth, so this site keeps me true to my health and lifestyle goals..keep posting it works..because most of us eat because of emotions and not for hunger true although it feels like hunger to me lol..

The nice thing about daughters growing up is that they become your best friends. I talk to my girls every single day, even though all 3 of them are grown and married now.

Hope your daughter has a lovely trip but you can keep yourself busy while she's gone. I've got three daughters. so have been there with my eldest but dread it everytime.

MtherGoos - how lovely they become your best friends.. I hope so with my girls. Well done on your Weight loss. I was heavier than my hubby a few years back and it was a great goal to beat. Bet you were pleased!

I got a job today!! Start on Monday so next challenge is packing healthy meals / snacks to take with me. I just know I'll get odd looks but power lifting will be my defence! lol

I eat a lot of egg salad, or tuna salad. I've also been keeping some fat bombs in the freezer here at work, just in case of an odd craving or desire for munchies! Much better to grab a fat bomb than to cave in to something else.

haha what is a fat bomb? sounds like something I need to blast away my belly!

Thanks for the congrats yeah will have to get some salad to add in the mix to make it look more normal. I've got tuna in and always have eggs etc so just remember to leave the bad things at home!

Well ya'll it's All I can do right now not to steal the Huge icing covered brownie outta my daughters hand and scarf it down! We picked up the car today and it now has a HUGE dent, scratch and Gouge on the front under the headlight!!! the tow truck did it from what we can find out so far! I am Physically Sick i'm so upset/Mad/irritated! I swear this vehicle is Cursed! It's had to have body work 3 X's now! We got it brand new in 2010! I trading it off asap! I wanna go to bed now!

Oh NO!!! Shelly, I'm so sorry you're having such a crappy day. Is the tow company liable for the damage? I know it sucks, and my first desire is ALWAYS to eat when I'm stressed or upset, but try and think about how you're going to feel tomorrow if you do eat that brownie. When you get up in the morning, you won't even be looking forward to getting on that scale, because you know it won't be good news. You can get through this. Post and read and vent. Don't eat the brownie! (((HUGS)))

Thanks sweetie! I made her put that nasty ole brownie away far from me! Lol! I had to call road side asst who Sent the tow truck in the first place sunday night! I was on the phone with 3 differant people for about 40+ minutes! We sat In the dealership parking lot while I delt with the RSA! I was Not leaving till it was being investigated! They are supposed to call me about in 24-48 Hrs so i'm Praying it will get taken care of. My husband is So mad!

Exercise:
30 minutes on the treadmill interval training run/walk every other minute
30 minutes on the elliptical, also interval

Well, I ate clean today! I didn't have any Atkins products, which are my crutch. I was also able to stay away from the diet sodas. I got really full with my big breakfast which helped all day. I usually eat a good dinner but I had "kid" drama to deal with so I didn't feel like eating.

I went dress shopping today and had to try on bigger sizes than last years 10's, so I used that as more motivation to go to the gym!

June Ist 150lbs. I know its stress tons of it in the pass few days.

June 17th 148lbs I knew it...how do one's body gain and lose two pounds in a day....I knew I had more than usual to eat..all low carb, the children did salads and bbq meats and I did not eat the yummy cake my daughter baked for her Dad...not even a lick of the frosting....

Starting off my morning right with a large class of water with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar... I really needed to get back into a routine of taking care of myself, between my job, my house band farm duties and very busy husband and my last two at home babies just have been forgetting myself again, just jumping out of bed and off running in the morning. Yesterday was also one of those hungry days so I wanted today something and anything sweet..so to avoid this today I'm going to really up my fat intake.
