What are you favorite induction salad dressings?

Looking for ideas and also what I can and cannot have on the induction phase.

Thanks! :jumpjoy:

Ones I have grown fond of:

Hidden Valley Ranch (Grew up with it and love it)
Marzetti's Chunky Blue Cheese
Marzetti's Supreme Caesar Dressing
Kraft Greek W-Extra Virgin Olive Oil Dressing

For salad dressings you can use a little almond milk and add a touch of lemon juice, salt, pepper, mustard + whatever else you like without carbs. You can make your own in seconds.
I make my own almond juice by first boiling a handful of almonds for a few minutes and then putting them in a blender witha little water. The liquid is your almond juice and the solid part is a nice creamy almond paste that you can use for whatever you like but watch the carbs!

Hidden Valley Ranch, and Hidden Valley Bacon Ranch-- I eat these both at work. At home I eat Marie's Creamy Italian. all are 2g carb per 2 tbsp, except the bacon ranch is 1g per tbsp. Yum! Extra dipping power!

Quick question not applying to this thread... how many posts before I can create a signature/ ticker?

My favorite salad dressings are Brianna's French Vinaigrette (the one with the artichoke on the label) and Ken's Steakhouse Blue Cheese

I only use hidden valley ranch. I use one serving on a spinach salad everyday for lunch, with fresh mushrooms, onions, at least one hb egg, sometimes chicken or other meat, sometimes parmesan, and half an Avacado. I was stalled until I started eating half an Avacado per day. Also started snacking on celery w a little ranch...

DairyQueen 05-23-2013 09:42 PM

Um Auburn ...maybe you mistyped? If bacon ranch were 1 gram carbs per 1 Tbsp, it would also be 2 grams for 2 Tbsp?? I'd love to find a dressing with 1 gram per 2 Tbsp!!!

Mad4Chillas 05-23-2013 09:53 PM

These are all 2g of carbs for 2 Tbsp. or less as well. Good standbys when my favorites aren't around.

Marzettis-Champagne Dressing
Marzettis-Greek
Marzettis-Lemon Vinaigrette
Marzettis-Parmesan Ranch
Marzettis-Caesar
Marzettis-Light Red Wine Vinaigrette
Briannas-Real French Vinaigrette

Marie's blue cheese is really good. That's 0.4g per 2TBS. The creamy ranch is 1g per 2TBS.

Any salad dressing by Walden Farms. :)

You can add a signature/ticker from the very beginning. :)

I'm another Hidden Valley Bacon Ranch fan.
2 tablespoons is 1 carb/net carb. Very Induction friendly!

Marie's ranch,1 carb per 2 tbl. Usually I have it along with a drizzle of olive oil and some sea salt.

Easy home made blue cheese everyone will go nuts for!

2 containers blue cheese crumbles *those round plastic ones by the packaged cheese
1 pint sour cream
3 cloves garlic minced
2 tablespoons chopped dill
salt/pepper to taste
4 table spoons heavy cream or half and half

Mix well. Its better if it sits over night as all the flavors gel together.
Dip into it or smother it over a lettuce wedge chop.

Kens Buttermilk Ranch is really good and tasty... only 1 net carb per 2 tbsp.

Sweetpea 06-12-2013 09:26 AM

I like Linda Sue's italian dressing.
I make a creamy Italian all my granddaughters love....just mixed sour cream with jar italian dressing
Or fruit flavored balsamic vinegar with olive oil...

Marie's makes some pretty good low carb dressings:

Marie’s Chunky Blue Cheese

That is for the blue cheese. I just bought some and it's pretty good, also bought the ceasar, haven't tried it yet but i'm sure it's good.

The ceasar is great! I add fresh squeezed lemon and parm shaves to the top of my salad with it. Perfect meal with sliced chicken tossed in!

I make all my own with the most vital tool in my kitchen - my VitaMix.

I've had some flops for sure - but this one was particularly good: a full bunch of cilantro (stems and leaves), juice from 1 lemon, 1 garlic, 1/2 Thai red pepper (seeded), handful of almonds, 2 tbsp greek yogurt - whir it all up in the vitamix then slowly drizzle in some EVOO into a nice emulsification.

Cindy's Kitchen Real Blue Cheese from Whole Foods - 2 Tbsp 0 carbs. It's HEAVEN, best blue cheese ever! (and it's non-GMO)

Cardini's Aged Parmesean Ranch - 2 Tbsp 1 carb. Best RANCH I've ever had, and I'm not a big Ranch person.

I loved Ghardetto's Cesar, delish! But I've since gone all organic so I'm not eating it anymore.

OMG there's a Marie's Blue Cheese w/ Bacon w 0 carbs!
