Am I doing this right?
 
I couldn't find broth, so I grabbed a few packs of dry roasted peanuts salted. T try and battle the sodium depletion. At 6g of carbs per 30g. Also I'm drinking a lot of water, and my meals consist of mainly either green vegetables and lean meat. If not, canned tuna.
Am I doing it right? Third day of Atkins induction.

Nuts (and peanuts, which are legumes) are not allowed on induction. There's no need to have peanuts for the sodium. First of all, many people don't need broth or "extra" sodium, simply not skimping in the salt when you're cooking is fine.

I would follow the rules of induction closely, and not improvise.

Ntombi has a good point. For those of us with a LOT to lose, it's especially important to understand the plan and stick to it pretty strictly. Not that you can't lose some weight lots of different ways, but long term, I think that will give you the best chance of success.

I want to build on what Ntombi said, since I'm one of the people who recommends broth/sodium to newcomers.

She's right - not everyone needs the added sodium. Some people benefit from it and find that it prevents the "low-carb flu" - the period of adjustment some people get when they drop their carbs and feel under the weather for a while.

Some low-carb programs recommend extra salt for everyone - that way, if you turn out to be one of the people who needs it, you won't get discouraged; and if you aren't, there's no harm done.

Atkins says "Normally salting food to taste is not adequate," and suggests either broth, or measuring out salt and making sure you use it all during the day, or using soy sauce. Atkins.com's salt recommendations

The Duke no sugar/no starch plan requires two cups of broth per day.

Lots of people don't need the extra sodium - I don't, for one. I do recommend that newbies give it a try when they get started, because it's an easy way to avoid a few days of unpleasantness if you are sensitive.

You're right, some do need it. I'm not discounting it altogether, but panicking and looking around for any extra salt (especially when actual salt could do the job!) isn't the way to go either.
