Snack ideas on Induction?????
I need to recommit back to Induction. I have bad insulin resistance and have found losing any weight to be incredibly hard!!!!!
I believe Atkins Induction will help me lose weight and get healthier.
However with no nuts allowed what am I to snack on?????
Just wondering if any of you have great ideas for those in between meals????
Cheese cubes (limited)
Laughing cow cheese
lunch meat/cheese roll up
Sugar Free Jello (NOT pudding) (limited)
Cheese crisps (American cheese cut into squares and microwaved)
Celery w cream cheese

I love to take sliced deli turkey, place a bit if cream cheese in the middle, roll it up and eat it! Yummy!
Turkey pepperoni slices, cut up a mozzarella stick and put a little piece on each one, nuke it in the microwave. Sometimes I dip them in a little sugar free pizza sauce, but not always.
Deviled eggs are a favorite
Coffee w/hwc and stevia
Pickles or olives
My all-time favorite snack is deli meat rolled around a string cheese with a few sugar-free bread-n-butter pickle slices...YUM YUM

Bell pepper strips with blue cheese dressing
Celery with cream cheese
Celery with tuna
Cucumbers with vinegar

Muffin in a minute (Flaxmeal muffin)
Flaxmeal pancake (Can also be made into muffins)

Pork rinds with salsa
Baby endive with mayo & feta cheese
Sliced turkey/ham with cream cheese or mayo, rolled with dill pickle, or tomatoes inside.

Frozen sugar snap peas
½ bell pepper stuffed with cheese or tuna
Bacon wrapped stuffed mushrooms
Bacon wrapped stuffed peppers
Chicken wings (lots of low carb recipes available)

Pepperoni "chips" (heat pepperoni slices in the microwave, or fry)

Sliced Meat Roll-ups (Roll cheese or veggies in Sliced meat spread bean dip, spinach dip, or other low-carb dip or spread on the lunch meat or lettuce and then roll it up)
Raw veggies and spinach dip, or other low-carb dip)
Flax meal "crackers" with cheese, tuna dip etc.
Atkins bar or shake

Rosemary Basil Flaxmeal Crackers - you can use these for SO may things!
Mini "Sloppy Joes" (ground beef, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms etc on flax meal crackers.
Tuna Melts - on Flaxmeal crackers.
Nachos - flax meal crackers (made thin) - topped with your favorite nacho toppings, served with salsa (homemade, or store bought - no sugar of course!)
Broccoli Salad (Broc, bacon, onions, mayo, splenda, vinegar)

Rebecca & 160 those are some great ideas! Generally I try to ride it out and grab a flavored water. I think I may try some of those ideas from time to time. :)

I don't know if I am doing this right it's been years since I last posted:confused:
I have restarted induction and lost during the 1st week then went into TOM and still kept losing TOM is over and I started gaining on the 2nd week. I have been clean no sweeteners or anything. I keep my carbs below 25 sometimes just16g I don't know if it is the salad b4 bedtime or the excess coffee that cud be at fault,:o

2-3 eggs with 1tbs cream, 3bacon, 0-2 hotdogs (4g carb each)
Mixed meats in fresh chilli pepper sauce
Chicken or ham &cheese roulade on salad with mayo salt mustard &vinegar
Dinner same as lunch but @ about 10-11pm

I got the suggestion here of thinly sliced cuke mixed up with some dill, sour cream and a dash of vinegar. It's probably already been said but I like some microwaved pepperoni slices, too.
