Is this induction friendly?

Is sun dried tomato paste induction friendly? 100g of the 190g bottle is 2.1g of carbs (3.2g fibre, is that zero net carbs?), 1.9g of sugar and 0.2g of starch. Sugar is 4th listed ingredient. If not, does any one have any substitute suggestions? The puree solution has no sugar in its ingredients and is half a carb for the bottle...

OK, "sugar" and "starch" both count as carbs. You don't need to ever think of them as different. A starch is just several sugars strung together. They are equally bad.

I would say, on Induction, avoid anything with Sugar in the top 5 ingredients. (This is the advice the American Diabetic Association used to give in the 70's, and I follow it on Atkins.) Past induction, it would probably be safe to use in carefully measured quantities.

I'd go with the puree, instead.

No contest ,go for the puree.
Also I don´t know if over where you all are the same difference is being made but here they sell pureed tomatoes (the tetrabric type)with 4g of carbs per 2 oz serving and tomato pulp for 0.8g per 2 oz serving .
