Atkins after Stillmans??

Hi everyone. I've just done a week of hard-core Stillman's and have only lost 5lbs so am ditching it for something a bit more pleasant...Atkins Induction! For those not familiar with Stillman's it's basically all protein NO fat and NO carbs...not even a teensy bit of salad. Sooo, I would love some a) encouragement and b) some tips on how to get a good loss this week after being on such a spartan regime with Stillmans.

I have done Atkins before but it seems like people find new ways to make it work all the time-so I'm all ears! Thanks

If you are after the veges then you want 'atkins for a new you' or at least 'new diet revolution'. There is also atkins 1972 but you may find that a little strict if you were craving lots of veges.
5lbs in a week is good unless you are very large (and probably young) man.Women tend to lose 4-10lb in two weeks on average and you wont have the initial water weight numbers from dumping glycogen since you dropped carbs already.You may find atkins a little easier to enjoy though.

Hi Kiwistars-I am neither very large nor a young man so I guess 5lbs is OK then :-) I'm not actually craving veg just it was sooo bland not having anything else but plain protein. I've had some salad today and it was so much nicer.
Dairyqueen-I am def sticking to it. I have a wedding to go to in 7 weeks and I want to lose as much as possible!
