Question about Stevia Products
Is Stevia allowed on induction?

The reason I ask is that I picked up some Truvia (a brand in the UK) which says it is made of stevia and bulked with erythritol. I've read on other threads that people use erythritol as it has less carbs than other sweeteners so thought it would be okay.

Now, I'm confused because it says under the nutritional info that it has 0g calories, protein and fat but it has 99g carbs per 100g.

So, if the carb count is that high, are we supposed to be able to use it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, stevia and trivia are allowed. The carb count is sugar alcohols which are subtracted from the carb count along with any fiber.,

Thanks so much cfine, I really thought I had screwed everything up by using it last night when I made my first batch of coconut bark. I can't say how relieved by your post!!! :jumpjoy:
