I am still at my pre-Easter weight. No real loss yet this month since I've been in recovery mode from my Easter lunch.

So yesterday I had the bright idea to have a cheat day in the hopes of kickstarting my weight loss again prior to my vacation. Started off with some Kernels popcorn and immediately felt so bloated and tired I had an hour long nap on the couch. Hubby has been craving chinese food so that's what we ordered for dinner. I had 2 chicken balls, about a 1/4 cup of fried rice and a few fried wontons. Had to stop my stomach was so bloated & felt uncomfortable all night. Even if this does work I won't be doing it again!!!

April goal (May 2nd actually) - 185

April 3 - no batteries in scale
April 4 - 194.5
April 5 - 197.5 WTH???

Hey gang I am back. It has been a long week plus a few days but happy to be back on plan. I gained about 15 pounds for the 5 days I was off plan. Have not worked out for 10 days and that is being felt big time. Back on plan this morning, doing hardcore low carb and will be hitting the gym hard also to get this thing restarted. My goal will be lose 20 pounds this month. Seems lofty seeing as there is only 22 days left in the month. But will keep me focused none the less. Will go back through the post and catch up later. Glad to be back.

Glad to be back Shelly. I am seeing all kinds of new people on the thread, I love it, cant wait to see all the progress for everybody. Cheshire you are moving along. PF cheat days are just that cheat days enjoy and then get right back in. I just did 5 days straight of cheat days and cannot change it just have to get back in the game. Which I am back into the game. So far so good today, had a huge rib-eye for lunch and will grill chicken for dinner and the rest of the week. After 5 days my body is hopefully going to act like a new start and shed the weight really quickly, only time will tell.

The funny thing is I didn't enjoy it at all - felt so crappy right away. The positive thing is hubby could see how bad I felt so I think he will stop asking if I can cheat 'just this once'

It is amazing how bad I feel when I cheat. The heavy carbs seem to just drag me down. My Wife will ask me to cheat with her. If i cheat just a tiny bit for just one meal it will cost me days to get back into ketoisis. I am so resistant to losing weight I have to really watch it. I think my body just wants to stay FAT!!! I can cheat for a weekend and put back on 3-5 pounds of fat easily. But I also can work out hard over a weekend and stay on plan and lose 3 pounds easily. It is our burden to bear that is for sure. My lucky brother can eat whatever he wants and not gain a pound. It is just they way it is.

Thanks Julie! I gotta say I think I did pretty good today. Stayed on target and only had 1 diet dr pepper and that was After the dentist when I found out I have to shell out 500.00 for a crown! Crud!! So with that added stress I think a ddp is Ok Lol! Praying that scale moves Down soon!

It is so good to see some old friends still here and so many new faces. Shelly you are doing amazing! My Dear, I am happy to see you are still working on this with us. Fluffy, like you I am starting higher than when I left.

I last was here mid October at 160 pounds. I am not up to 177. I need the focus of reporting to this group and the support it brings. I know i am joining late, but my goal is just to stick to plan for the month. Whatever I lose is great, but I just need to get back on track with eating. This is the end of day 2 for me and still motivated and going strong.

I can see a cheese creep going on. Goal for the rest of the week is NO CHEESE. Let's see if that helps.

Sooooo discouraged.

I worked my tush off this week to make sure that I was staying on plan and drinking my water and not eating after 7pm. Basically doing everything a good Induction-follower should do. I have had terrible bathroom issues this week and figured it was my body cleansing itself out of carbs.

Well, I haven't noticed a whole lot of change, my rings are still tight and my face looks the same (that's where I usually notice I lose weight first).

Last Tuesday I weighed 221.0. Today I got on the scale at 219.8. A pound? Really?

I feel like crying and giving up. SO frustrated. I followed the same course a few months ago and lost 7 pounds my first week (then fell off the wagon, but that's water under the bridge). Why only 1 pound? I'm doing the work.

Any words of wisdom or advice/support would be most welcome. I'm not giving up, but I'm SO sad and discouraged right now.
