I always go cup method. I feel it's easier not to mess up the sample.

I am up 2 pounds today. What the heck. I had peanut butter yesterday out of desperation and that always messes my body up. plus these stupid antibiotics I am on are not helping

I have to say I Have No clue where that came from! Praying it's gone tomorrow
because i'm so sick of the Up and down!
April 3rd- 153! Seriously!?

Ok ya'll can antibotics cause weight gain? I'm on what the Dr called C-def? For my sinus and ear infection. I had a lc bar for breakfast since I had No time to cook, a good sized salad with ranch and grilled chicken for lunch, 1 fat bomb for a snack, water! For supper I had 2 hamburger patties with mayo, mustard and a bit of onion with Water, I had 2 med glasses of Diet dr pepper all day. And my weight goes Up this morning. What am I doing wrong? I know I only have around 10 lbs to go to get to my goal But it's been 3 months of this! Ugh!!

I'm not sure on the actual answer to this but I say it can stall and have water weight gain. I think I read some threads that say no but I definitely experience it

Glad to see I am not the only one who wanted to chuck my scale through the bathroom window this morning!

I think I need to start eliminating dairy and see what happens. My skin is a mess right now and I am not sure why, and clearly I am not losing.

Meal plan for today (already packed so there is dairy in here)

Br. 6 mini homemade pork meatballs
sn- going to eat my sweet potatoes and sunbutter for morning snack (think I might have to take a break from this next week - maybe do celery?
L- 1 and some turkey burger with cheese, bsprouts and green beans with butter
Sn- 3 or 4 strawberries, string cheese
D- pork shoulder and snap peas

WO- vinyasa yoga

Thank you! I'm on day 6 of induction now, I just guesstimated my weight based on the last time I was at the doctor. I spent about an hour last night looking at Food Porn, I love it!

Hi everyone! Finally recovered from my awful March flu, really thought I was going to DIE...worst flu I have ever had. Lost tons of weight, but it was false weight, most of it, from being unable to eat. Also my Birthday on the 26th and Easter was a planned cheat week (turned into an Easter/Birthday cheat WEEK, ugh!) so I am up 5 pounds, which still put me at my March goal, but it sure sucks to go UP, as we all know.

Anyway, joining the April challenge at 188 with a goal of 182, which I think is realistic for me since I am a slooooooow loser.

Good to see some of my old friends again!

I'm at the same weight as I started with on Monday: 106.2
Usually I will lose 1 lb of water weight right away.... looks like there's a few of us struggling.

I'll drink more water/tea and watch my portions.

Today's menu:
B- coffee w/half n half
L- meatloaf, green salad
Snacks- cottage cheese, muffin-sized quiche, 1/4 c blueberries
Dinner- probably scrambled eggs with cheddar

Oh BTW I'm not doing strict induction (so that's why I'm eating cottage and berries... but if I don't get results in a couple days, I will go strict)

I am trying to incorporate more veggies into my diet this time. Today I have had (and will have):

* Grande Americano w/ SF Hazelnut and half and half
* 1/3 sliced Cucumber, 2 small peppers, 5 Cherry Tomatoes and 2 TB Ranch
* 1.5 Deviled eggs
* Tuna w/ Mayo, Mustard, Pickle and Celery.
* Small Ribeye steak

I work fulltime at subway so i usually eat turkey with chipotle on it, or a lettuce only salad with steak and chipotle dressing or a lettuce only salad with chicken mayo and hot sauce, hard boiled eggs with butter...I'll even admit to a *few* atkins bars, but am trying to only use them for emergencies. Dinner has mostly been burgers with cheese and, yep you guessed it chipotle sauce.

Is it ok just to weigh myself once a week for this challenge? If I weigh myself every day I make myself crazy and let the scale dictate what kind if say I'm going to have.

Absolutely!!! Sometimes I weigh every day and sometimes just once a week. It really depends on if I introduced a food and want to see how my body reacts or to reaffirm I'm doing things right. If it gets in the way of your staying on program, then stay off the scale!

I really hit a stride last night after dinner. I got this huge burst of energy and felt really great about my self. I feel like I don't have any cravings for sweets and absolutely love weighing in and telling everyone here. Thanks so much for creating this challenge.
