DQ: I am so jealous, crab is my favorite food of all time. I live on the coast here in Texas so we have a ready supply, but they are not as tasty as Maryland crabs.

Love coming here and reading about all the successes and persistance! You guys definitely keep me motivated on the really tough days! You know, those days when you'd shove a stranger to the ground to steal his ice cream cone? Yeah, those are the days when you all really keep me going!

Today marks 2 months since I started BACK to the WOE..... again. As of this morning, I was down exactly 33 pounds in the 2 months. I'm excited about that, but I have to say, it's SOOOO much slower than it used it to be. When I was in my 20's, and even in my 30's, I could drop 50-60 pounds in 2 month easily. Now, at 45, it's so so much slower and not coming as easily. At first, I was kind of upset about that, but the more I think about it, maybe it's a lot better. In the past, I would lose quickly, and go back to my old bad habits and gain it all back. I can't even tell you how many times I've gained and lost over 100 pounds. My closet has every size 24 to 4, because my weight bounces around so much!

I'm thinking, or at least I'm telling myself, that maybe it's better that it's coming off slower. Hopefully, this time, it's becoming a true WOL for me, and not just a diet. I'm really hoping that the extra time it's taking to lose the weight will mean that I'm really changing my ways this time and I'm in it for the long run. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself.....

Had to step on and off the scale about 10 times to really believe it was saying 166.4 lol. I didn't expect to drop a pound overnight. With the amount of food I get to eat I just can't wrap my brain around how I'm able to lose weight . After being on a low calorie/low fat diet all the time and completely starving, it feels so weird to be able to EAT and still see the scale move down.

Mothergoose: I use to have those same results. I could drop a pound a day easily on this WOE back in my 30's. I too am 45 so it is taking a little longer to drop it off. I have also lost and gained back many times. I just so love to eat bad things. I too am taking it slow this time. I have stayed around 230(started at 274) now for a while and will make a another big push down after this coming weekend. Still need to lose 40 more pounds so here we go. I know if I stayed focused and did not cheat I could do that in 2 months. So this time around I am enjoying my self when and event comes around and staying super focused during the week. If no event on the weekends I stay focused all the way through and it has given me very good results. Again good luck and glad to be in this with you.

Lost 6 pounds of the bloat, Think it is going to be tough to get 7 more pounds off and make goal, but I am going to try hard. Played golf yesterday and walked most of it. Will hit the gym today and try and get the old heart pumping to try and get back into ketosis by the morning. I have another big weekend of parties planned but going to try and stay focused and get to that goal.

What the ?????

This is unusual...i was up 3 pounds this morning?????Hey no fair!!!
I didn't eat much differently than normal yesterday...a small omelet, four jumbo shrimp. Some cheese and a salad, two select 55s and a glass of champers! And not too many pepperoni slices. Ah well, let's see what happens tomorrow!
