Well I did have some beers last night, so that is the reason for the gain. I was in the 220's for a day at least. So off to the gym this morning, then off to Beaumont for a wedding and more drinks today. I am so happy I stayed the course last night and did not just completely blow it. I am however not so sure about today. If I do break I will only now have to do it for just the day. The real test will be if I work out tomorrow when I get back home. Thanks for all the support guys, keep on keeping on.

Hello everyone!!
I am so relieved that the day in Boston ended as it did. I had a 20 hour day at work!! Everything went great -- our reporting was spot on and everyone was happy. I'm back at work today but the stress level is WAYYYYY down. They did feed us yesterday -- salads and sandwiches from potbelly (i had salad with the innards of half a chicken salad sandwich) and then some great middle eastern food (i unwrapped the wraps for the chicken and beef) including more salad. Extremely good. I got home at 11:30, so I only had a couple of glasses of wine and then fell asleep. I wanted to weigh this morning, but woke up late -so -- hoping for some downward movement on the scale tomorrow!
Kemp - good for you for not buckling- next time you start thinking about taco bell, STOP thinking about it. You KNOW what it tastes like! jeesh - if you're gonna cheat, cheat WELL! go to Paris and get some eclairs at Le Grenier a Pain or some beignets and chicory coffee at Cafe du Monde in New Orleans. OK - now, THOSE are cheats!

Lost 40 pounds back then and maintained for almost 8 years...then carb creep crept. I've always been low carb, but went hard core again in March 2012.

I am with you DQ! I know how hard recovery is after an off plan meal for me so if I'm gonna do it, I certainly want to make sure it's worth it!!!

Followed up by a hurricane or 3 at Pat O'Briens!!!! I picked up some mix while we were in Cincinnati but they've been sitting in the pantry since November the sugar is insane!!!!

Congrats Amandaetr!! Great progress this month!

I just returned from dinner out with friends and I am stuffed. I usually eat a very light dinner but splurged a bit tonight and had a delicious ribeye with creamed spinach. Both were amazing but I feel really full and bloated now. I ate light today knowing I was going out so hopefully the scale is kind tomorrow. I also spent a little extra time on the treadmill today. Fingers crossed.....

Food today:
B: coffee with HWC and CO
L:: creamed spinach
S: small portion of almonds (100 calorie pack), cream cheese muffin
D: ribeye steak, creamed spinach (restaurant food)

Welp we ended up Going to town, did some shopping and ate at Golden corral. Not my fav place to eat But I had 2 gift cards I needed to use. They have hot wings right now so I was looking forward to that and steak! Yum! But the wings were fried to death and the steak while it tasted Good took forever to get! Ate a few wings and a small piece of steak with some cabbage and a few bites of mushrooms. Came home early since my baby girl started feeling crummy again!

No movement on the scale today, which I guess is a good thing give the size of the dinner I had. It is very cold today. I had to turn our furnace back on for the first time in a long time. Hoping it warms up so I can take my boys to the zoo. Will be good exercise for us all. Gonna jump on the treadmill for a few miles first. I need to get things moving again! :-)

Hope you're feeling better Tinamanni! Stay hydrated! I had the stomach flu two weeks ago and it was miserable. Luckily mine only lasted about 48 hrs. Hoping yours goes away SOON!!

Good Sunday Morning everyone.
I'm best at posting on a Sunday morning, my life is so busy during the week...as a landscaper on job sites, my water intake is not good, I'm trying hard to eat when I'm hungry, I just find when I look at what everyone is eating that I still way too much..hahahaha...it's low carb and all but I bet my calories are way out of wack..but I don't know I still feel hungry, but I've not had any sugar or cake or most of all Ice cream, I always celebrate spring with a Diary Queen Ice cream...but no not this year, not that you can tell that it spring here today, we had snow yesterday and today it's cold..had to turn put the fire place to use again..thought we were done with that..hey..
Congrats to all the losers this week..so happy for you all...
Pink I so here you I had sausage yesterday also..but unlike you I had three, it's was the only thing I had cooked in the house for meat...so tons of salt and like you I'm bloated my wedding band finger is really showing the effects of the salt..going to have to drink tons of water today...
Julie, you and I are cold, but there you are walking off the pounds way to go...I'm going to take my puppy for a good walk soon..thanks for the motivation.
Shelly I hope you baby girl feels a lot better today..

Well holding at 155 even with the bloated fingers and toes and other parts..
I see that other people but coconut oil in their coffee and it holds them over..but it does not work for me..just have to eat breakfast almost as soon as I wake up always was and still am a early riser and early breakfast person...

Hi all, I have a quick question about a product I have been eating to get more fiber, it is a mixture of Oat Bran, Linseed (flaxseed), psyllium husks and psyllium seeds. That's all there is in it, it comes pre-mixed in a bag and I add hot water and a teaspoon of cream an make myself a hot cereal from it.

The nutrition info says that per 10g serving, there is 1g Protein, 0.9g Carb, and 6.4g dietary fiber. That is sooo much fiber...I am not eating so much per day...but does this mean that I am getting rid of more carbs by eating this than not?

I mean, is this a food that by eating it makes you lose weight? Is it a "legal cheat"? Just curious.

We ended up going fishing today! Didn't catch anything but still had fun! Gotta confess I had 1/2 a donut everyone in the truck was eatting them so I caved and had half. Ugh it wasn't even That good! I ate good the rest of the day though. The family had ham/cheese sandwiches and I had ham/cheese rolled up without the bread then later a lc bar. Tonight i'm having baked fish and brocoli! I Refuse to let that donut derail me!
