Doing good - not a perfect induction but good.

Small setback today - the breakfast I made and took to work smelled "off" so I tossed it and now I am just ravenous. Counting the minutes until lunch. Going to get a Greek Salad with chicken.

How is everyone else doing?

Hi guys can't sleep. Having strange dreams, has this happened to any one else on A low carb diet?
If it has please let me know what to do.. l'm exhausted and have to work in the morning and need sleep to function.

I have a hard time sleeping when I first enter induction. I think it's because the carbs aren't weighing me down

1.2 pounds overnight, Gosh this thing really works. Hit the gym yesterday and will again today. Going to try and keep going till the wedding tomorrow afternoon. (cousin getting married) Not planning a food cheat but am planning to have wine and beer and bourbon and tequila and what ever. I am catholic and it is a catholic wedding so.....well we can all do the math. Once the drinks happens and the wedding cake will be right there. If I some how lose 1.4 pounds and see 227.9 in the scale window in the morning I may have a few carby foods but right back on Sunday morning. Will try and stay focused.

Looks like we are all having some losses today for a happy weekend of weight loss.

morning everone!
so I didn't weigh today because i had to go into work at 3am because of the chase for the boston marathon bombers. There is ALWAYS at least one DC element to most stories (president meeting with his security peeps, FBI issuing statements/intelligence, cabinet secretaries talking about what happened, etc etc) - and this morning we discovered that the bombers' two uncles live - yes! in the DC area. So we talked to them. It's been a LOOONG day and I have about 4 more hours here, unless they catch suspect #2 before 8 or 9. And then I'm back tomorrow and have to worry about what happens if it happens tonight. Anyhooo-- let's see. I had some scrambled eggs and crumbled bacon around 9am, we got catered salad and sandwiches for lunch so I had salad and the innards of a chicken salad sandwich. They'll prob have pizza tonight so i can have the topping off of a slice. I DO feel fat today, because I've ben SITTING DOWN NOW for almost 14 hours. I try to get up and pace every 10 minutes or so, though -- or at least stand up. but SHEESH!!! rambling rose.....

Lost 40 pounds back then and maintained for almost 8 years...then carb creep crept. I've always been low carb, but went hard core again in March 2012.

I love seeing everyone's numbers going down. It's so motivating! Makes it easier not to eat the giant cinnamon rolls I made for my kids this morning lol.

I need a bit of venting, I am really struggling to stay on plan right now. I want to eat everything in sight right now. I have not done it yet due to the fat bomb i just chowed on. I am seeing great progress and don't know why i am having serious cravings for carby things. I am going out tonight with friends an know I will have a few drinks and hope I do not taco bell on the way home. I just tried on suits I could not even imagine wearing 3 weeks ago for the wedding tomorrow and now they are almost too big!!! I can even button the necks of smaller shirts. I know a weekend of cheating will not ruin that, but I do not know how many restarts I have left. Just venting thanks for listening.

Kemp, I know we all have days like that, but you can do this. You know you can. Imagine how you'll feel tomorrow morning when you wake up and dread getting on that scale. That feeling sucks. It's great to wake up and look forward to stepping on it. You can get through the night without binging. I have faith in you. You know how great it feels, and how much you're accomplishing. I don't think it ever gets really easy, we just have to make better choices each and every day.

I am home now. I did drink 5 mich ultras for 14 carbs but did not cheat on the food. So happy I did not. Thanks for the support, going to bed now so i can get up and go workout before going home to the wedding.

Kemp you rock, always so helpful and kind and you stayed true to yourself...I'm so amazed at your commitment to working out..want to be more like that but my job leaves me pretty exhausted at the end of the day and as stated before having a difficult time sleeping.
I'm so happy for everyone on the down trend, this is so wonderful..
For me, I'm down to 155lbs..so that's great...longing to see 150lbs..just want to fit into my spring and summer clothering and feel better, I want the upward feeling of good health.
