Tinamanni: I am the same way with late night. If it was not for my nightly fat bomb I think I would go crazy.

Sometimes I do that too, Tina. Or I sautee some mushrooms. Or I have a pickle. But other times I just grab some roasted mixed veggies and don't worry too much. For some reason, it makes me feel too restricted to have to limit the kind of green veggie I'm eating.

Maybe I should try a fat bomb or similar in the afternoon. So far, the Atkins shake is doing the job but I'm always looking for new ideas.

DQ: It is awesome feeling. I finally entered the 220's today and I am so pumped. I was going to take a day off and do no workout today, but I have so much energy I will at least mow the yard, takes about and hour but is 85 degrees here today so will be a good sweat.

Lorias: Nice drop, exercise works.

Just ate big rib eye steak I cooked in a cast iron skillet, man this WOE rocks when you can eat like that and still lose. Since my restart last Monday, I have upped my calories to almost 2000 per day. i use to do under 1500 a day. Well the weight is really coming off, 18 pounds in 9 days. (mostly bloat from the cheating but I am happy about it) i am kinda of surprised at how well it is coming off. I am not doing cardio, only weights, and it is still coming off. Could be a new trend for me. I do however expect a stall here around now or by the time I reach 225. It always happens, maybe not this time. Either way I am one happy camper with all this weight off my frame. 45 pounds since Jan. 28th 2013.

I need to get a cast iron skillet. I'm just leery of the seasoning process.

Jes: You can buy some preseasoned. But they are not hard to season at all. Usually just cover in a high heat oil, place in high heat oven and let bake. Then do not cook acidic foods for the first 10 or so uses and you are off to the races. It takes a while to get them jet black but so worth it. I also never use soap on it and when I do scrub it I dry it(of course with just a soap free scruber) then give it a quick heat on the stove to make sure no wet spots. If you have any other questions, let me know.

April goal: 170

4/5/13- 178.4
4/6/13- 175.4
4/7/13- 174.8
4/8/13- 173.4
4/9/13- 172.6
4/10/13-172.8
4/11/13-172.2
4/12/13-172.2
4/13/13-171.2
4/14/13-170.0 There's my goal for April, so I'll see if I can break 169
4/15/13-170.0 here's hoping I see 169 tomorrow
4/16/13-169.0 Woo hoo!
4/17/13-169.4 I feel a little puffy this morning, not sure why tho
4/18/13-168.8 A few more ounces and I'll have lost 10 pounds!

It looks like so many people are having good drops! I'm having trouble eating more than a few bites at every meal. I'm just not hungry at all :/. I'm going to try to run tonight before my husband goes to work, so hopefully he wakes up in time to watch our kiddos. We have a treadmill, so if all else fails I can jog while the kids are sleeping, but I really hate that thing. I much prefer to do my exercise outside.

I'm new to the LCF message boards and came in dead-center in the middle of the month, but I still want in -- my simple goal is to stick with the program and eat clean until the end of the month! I'm on Day Three (after a multi-year absence from LC) and slogging through the readjustment period. But still, SO HAPPY to be back on the LC train.

I went shopping for a good chunk of the day. I am comfortably in Lee brand size 16 in Misses. That means I don't have to cut my circulation off to squeeze into them. Which is great.

I didn't have enough water and had a light Corona with lunch so I am reeeeeally hoping that means I don't gain.

I have an off day planned for my birthday (either the day before or after) coming up on the 27th. I am interested to see what happens. Ha - interested to play with my weight? Often my body doesn't respond horribly to a day of eating - and sometimes it even jump starts loss a bit more. I do better at being back on plan the next day when I have an off day "planned." I guess I like to look at it as - my lifestyle is low carb but special days occur and I move on. With all of that said- I have had a box of girl scout samoas sitting and waiting for my birthday and omg I am so excited to eat 3 (the rest will get trashed).

It's really great to see everybody losing - just reading it puts me in a better mood

Just wanna check in with some good news, finally made it under 195 after ages of stalling and what have you- it was getting me down!

April 17 I saw 194 on my scale. WOOHOO!!!!

Will weigh in again next week. Although the pounds are moving slowly I am changing shape so maybe there will be some catch up weight loss later on. Getting a few compliments at work and a few of the other ladies are asking me more about LC food...!

Shelly: Way to go, bet that is going to make the day go by better.

Moniruth: Excellent news. Glad to hear the change is happening.

Cheshire: You and Shelly sticking with the plan even with slow losses keeps me motivated on days like today. As I get closer to goal I cannot expect to keep losing at a blistering pace.

Tina: Congrats and way to go. Happy early birthday and enjoy your day. If we cannot enjoy a day or two here and there this whole thing is not worth it.

April Goal 227

April 1-7 off plan
April 8 247.2
April 9 243
April 10 DNW
April 11 237
April 12 236
April 13 DNW
April 14 233.6
April 15 DNW
April 16 231.6
April 17 229.8
April 18 230.4 Slight bounce, it happens no worries

Had a small bounce today, but to be expected, no worries. Did not have a BM yesterday so that could be it easily. Get to go hit the gym today and do weight training, I am really looking forward to that. Hope all have a great day of staying on plan.

Thanks Kemp! I think the long walk with a little Jogging here and there helped! Won't be walking this morning due to the thunderstorms we've got going on But that's ok cause my legs are Hurting! Lol! I Think maybe Just maybe i've started to find whats working for me again. Big breakfast, smaller lunch, snack if needed then smaller supper. Maybe that's what's working? I really have No clue Lol!

Shelly - This always works for me. I try to have my larger meals before 1pm and a small piece of meat for dinner (before 6:30) then nothing after besides small sips of water. I end up having about a 12 hour fast unintentionally (don't eat until 6:30 the next day). Whenever I eat after 6:30 I usually have very little loss and sometimes a gain depending on the salt content of the food.
