Cheshire: Thanks. All those 100 percent days look great and I admire your dedication to this WOE. Even if it is only a slight loss it is a loss.

Dairy Queen: Thanks, and that water is needed but does not have to be over done. I still drink more than I should but am cutting back slowly so I am not always so bloated.

Shelly: Thanks, and a loss is a loss, way to keep up the focus and not break.

TinaTanni: Could be both things, could be the body just finally losing some bloat. Either way a whoosh is a whoosh way to go!!! 4 lbs over 6 days is awesome.

Passionatefire: That is awesome to see, looks like you guys are really getting it done. 2 pounds over night is a feeling that does not go away quickly. Keep up the good work and look forward to more pounds on the ground.

Looks like staying on plan paid off big time. I also guess stress is a kinda of workout after it is all said and done. I am finally going to have a normal day today. No hospital, no scrambling to make sure I have the right food etc. Had a surprise last minute guest last night, old friend came into town. Going to go to a greasy spoon diner around the corner in an hour, eat some eggs and bacon and then drop him at a deposition he is doing. Then off to the gym and try and catch up on some weight workouts. Then off to the golf course for a quick 18 holes, walking most of it. Hope that keeps the scale moving in the right direction. Kemp, what great news about your Dad and in all that stress you kept to your plan and loss weight....great news.
Dairy queen thanks for the news on the water...like Kemp I would not like to have to take so many bathroom breaks...hahahahaha.
Pink Cadillac, hang in there...I'm the same, holding on to the weight this time around, but I'm telling myself that this is for my heath and well being first and the weight willl fall off..I think it's our bodies telling us that we have to work harder to lose when we are closer to our goal weight...so we can push each other.
Since yesterday I've been struggling with a bit of depression, the Boston news really threw me and today it's really grey here which does not help.
Last night all I wanted to do was dive into ice cream, or cake or some sweet carb load, but I did not.
Instead I made myself a hot chocolate, with honey I don't have sweetners here, with some coconut oil and vanilla and cream, it was wonderful..and then brush my teeth and went to bed...so I made it through, I don't have craving, just seeking comfort food. Holding on to all the good news here and listing all the things I have to be grateful for.
It's a good thing to have this site to read and get incouragment.

Pink: Can I just say UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH for you!!!!!!!! But way to stay focused and not quit.

I am only 6 pounds of way from my dreaded 225lbs. I usually, well actually every time I get to that weight I stall, sometimes for 2 weeks straight at that dreaded weight. It sucks and no matter what I do it seems to happen. So this time I am just going to keep focused and work through it. I am doing weights now instead of cardio and have upped my fat and calories quite a bit also, so hoping that is the trick. We will know soon enough.

Joy: Yesterday was a terrible thing. But way to not break that is awesome you did not do that.

This thread is awesome and glad to see everyone so focused and getting it done.

Looks like I'm stuck on the scale -- but that's OK. This morning I woke up and noticed that I was sleeping on my side and my knees hurt because there was no fat to cushion the BONES!!! ouch! bony knees!! hahaha

[B]DQ:[/B The bony knees comment was classic. I am in between clothes right now myself. I can get into the smaller ones but they are not quite comfy enough for all day wear and the big clothes are just so baggy I look funny. Oh well comfort over everything else for me. 6 more pounds and it should be all good. And thanks again for the water info.

Portia: Welcome to the thread, I see you have been around a while, look forward to some of your knowledge.

Boston was a terrible tragedy and has really got my goat. I hope they find whoever did this cowardly action. We must remember to keep living the life of an American, if we stop they win. GO USA!!!!!!

I hit the gym today and took out some aggression, then went to the golf course and took out a little more on the little white ball. Had no Idea golf was such a great calorie burn. Anyway glad to be back and posting regularly.

Amanda: It may be that you body does not agree with the salt or something else in the sausage. Keep experimenting and you will figure it out. You have lost almost 10 pounds this month so far, keep up the good work.

I am loving this trend. I did play golf for four hours then worked out after so that is a big time calorie burn. Looks like it paid off big time to boot. Today is a rest day, I am beat. The weights training does make you sore that is for sure. I think that the body trying to repair all the broken down muscle keeps your body burning fat all night and day. Just makes sense, I could be wrong. So work work work today for me, all have a good one. Will be on computer most of the day so look forward to your post.

I don't know about my "knowledge." It's been a rough couple of years for me weight-wise.

I'm doing induction by the book with one tweak - I am allowing 3 cups of any vegetables (other than carrots or starchy vegetables), because that still nets me well below 20 net carbs daily. And I am burned out on salad. I am not counting anything at the moment - carbs or calories - but if I stall I will track carbs on an outside tracking site. I'm just eating to satisfaction following the induction food list.

Today's menu:

B: Coffee with hwc; 2 eggs
L: leftover crack slaw
D: Adobo chicken and pork chops, roasted Brussels sprouts.
Snacks (as needed): cream of broc soup; mock danish or minute cheesecake

Afternoons are my downfall - the rest of the plan is "easy" for me.
