Starting Today i'm going back to honest
to goodness Induction and see if that helps! Going by the book with No fat

Good Morning Everyone! Just wanted to pop in really quick and share my excitement. I hit the 30 pound mark today! So excited. Now I'm just praying it stays off! LOL I'm heading to Phoenix today, about a 4 hour drive, so I know it will be more of a challenge today.

Everybody is doing so great!!
Kemp, keeping your dad in my prayers!

Julie ~ You may be eating more than usual, but you're still staying on plan, which is a big accomplishment! Be proud of yourself!

Hello everyone and congratulatons Mthrgoos! fantastic news!

on being hungry -- sometimes i have hungry days too -- i just stay on plan!
today so far i had an egg and slice of ham (out of one of the green room breakfast sandwiches) and a spoonful of cream cheese. Tonight-- salmon and asparagus!

I know this is a weight loss thread, but will be out for next few days. The dad is back in hospital and now back in ICU. So will be heading back to Beaumont for ???? Will try to stay focus and check in. I am still on plan and plan to stay on plan, but the stress is heavy, and as most of us do, we turn to food when stressed, especially carby food. Or at least I do.

i do that too, and then gain, which stresses me out even more....so TRY and stay strong....i know its hard, and hope things work out...

First started Atkins April 1, 2002.
Lost 40 pounds back then and maintained for almost 8 years...then carb creep crept. I've always been low carb, but went hard core again in March 2012.

Hi Everyone, Thanks for the congratulations! I was out of town for the rest of yesterday and today, so I'm a little scared to weigh in tomorrow. I stayed 100% on plan, but I'm still worried!

Kemp, hugs and prayers your way. I know I handle stress the same way, so I'm saying extra prayers for strength for you to get through this.

haha mexy. drinking more than eight glasses of liquids - and that is ALL liquids -- a day for a normal female -- is NOT necessary. It doesn't help lose weight, it doesn't help swoosh out fat. If it helps fill you up, that's fine. but otherwise. the answer is -- you don't have to turn into a living walking lagoon. seriously. I'm a reporter, and when I first read that -- about a year ago, I became pretty angry -- You mean -- this is yet ANOTHER myth that I've been sold all these years? I called around -- to Johns Hopkins and Mayo Clinic, etc. and - yep, it's true.

Hey gang thanks for all the kind words and prayers. They worked. He is doing better, they got out ahead of the infection and he ended up not getting as bad as we thought. He will then be going to inpatient cardio rehab once out of ICU for a couple of weeks, and that will take a lot of stress off of myself and my brother. He is now in the right place. And will be stronger than he was when he went in.

So that means I am back in Houston and ready to reach my goal. I stayed on plan and am looking forward to weighing in the morning. I cannot thank you guys enough. I will read through the post and catch up fully now. It looks like I will be back to a normal routine asap.

Dairy queen; I did catch your post about water and that is great news. I am tired of getting up three times a night and going pee pee!!! LOL I looked it up on line and I only need about half of what I have been drinking.

April 10 158.0 - didnt eat enough but what I did it was all good

April 12 158.6 - 100% day - going in the wrong direction again WTH!!!!
