i was thinking that -- last night i had some whipped cream and maybe that stalled me. hmmmm
On that note though, I have an isi whipped cream maker - i just add a couple of Ts of sugar free syrup to it - and it works great! It's one of my favorite things.

Hi Guys,
Lots of good news here on this Thread, congrats to all the losers of weight, the newly married.
I can so relate to the non losers, we just have our work cut out for us here and catch up with all the sucess here..I can't wait.
The last two days of work has been extream for me, and last night when I got home from work dear hubby made soup, barley and pork soup, and I know that barley is high in carbs, and so I ate a small bowl and he also make fresh bread made with with Rice flour and I had three slices...
Did not lose but did not gain any weight..but today I just craving carbs..
My job was very physical both days and I always found that in the pass I would just want to consume lots of carbs on my heavy days..
I'm holding down my fort and going to go to bed early tonight and hope I can make it without caving.
Did great today and fell below the 20 grams of carbs.
I don't excise in a gym, but I walk our dog and also my job is quite physical as a landscaper..I got home both days soaked to the bone, with all the rain we had but we were already installing a new walkway and deck so we just kept on going.
Well tomorrow is another day.
Thanks for all the tips given and the encouragment.

I'm beyond frustrated again - why when after 2 and a half years of this working is it not now - the last 6 months have been such a battle - I feel like giving up (which I won't) but its how I feel - how can I be this good and stay on plan and not lose but GAIN I know some may say lose the HWC and I may try that but thats never been an issue in the past, I feel like I'm being so strict and not reaping the rewards! Sorry I know we all have our issues - I just needed to vent

Hello everyone! I'm at work, and it's a beautiful day outside, although streets are closed everywhere because of various parades (cherry blossom and Japanese), demos, etc etc. -- what a mess!

Let's see. Yesterday we had a gig, so i got a chopped salad from subway - chicken with just a tiny bit of chipotle dressing. I ate about half of it, and, i know I'm a fast food snob, but it wasn't that bad. haha - i guess i was hungry! Anyway, only a few mich ultras at the gig and a glass of wine when i got home.

Today so far I've had a few forkfuls of leftover barbeque. OH we have thebest barbeque truck that comes round on Thursdays -- they have a 3littlepigs platter: two slices of bacon, pulled pork and a slice of ham. It takes me 3 or 4 days to eat it it's so huge. I don't get bread, and I don't get any sauce - because all the sauces have sugar. I do get a small bit of cole slaw, though-- that is just dressed with vinegar. it is just yum.

Then I thought i'd get a pork butt or shoulder and crock pot or cook it in the oven!
and THEN I thought about limetwist and i see that she hasn't posted since january? anyone know what happened?

anyway, i'm rambling. Dinner tonight is salmon and asparagus.

Sigh...that is exactly what happened to me when I let life get in the way and led me away from everyone here. I was so glad to see so many of familiar faces when I came back. Good Sunday morning'
Well back up to 158 this morning, but as I said before I'm committed to this way of eating because I am Asthmatic and over the pass 5years or so it has gotten worst, and I'm afraid of the strain on my heart and general life style. I always ate really well but I'm also an emotional eater and when l felt down or exhausted l would reach for the huge carb, very high carb sweets, ice cream, cake, pie etc...Easter Sunday was my breaking point as l consume so much desert and felt myself springing out of control..so I made the decision to eat better and I know that lower carb would control the cravings, my Dad is a diabetic and has control his diabetes with a low carb lifestyle for over 25 years, and I don't want to end up there...my losing 20lbs and fitting into the clothings would be a bonus...
So that my goal in a nut shell.

Hello! My weight loss this month has not gone as I'd hoped. I started the month 3 lbs. up thanks to Easter lunch and I'm now at my end of March weight again. Had a friend over for Greek Friday night (ate too much), had a barbecue with friends yesterday (ate too much) and I am having another family over today for a barbecue and will try not to eat too much! I've been staying on plan, it is just the amount of food that I need to cut back. I may need to try to tweak things a bit again as things have really slowed down for me again. Will try to add more exercise next week and see how that goes. My body is a bit on the stubborn side!!

My food yesterday:
B: scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee with cream (at McDonalds, DS had early Tae Kwon Do)
L: Atkins shake
S: pepperoni/salami cheese rolls
D: SF BBQ chicken, SF cole slaw, deviled eggs

Sorry for not posting much lately. My life has been a little hectic lately. Congrats to our amazing losers and everyone who is staying on plan! You guys are my daily inspiration and I am so thankful for that!

Well happy with the loss. Could not check in or weigh yesterday. Had to head back to Beaumont to check the Dad back into the hospital with breathing problems. Oh well it is what it its. I ate like crazy but stayed on plan. No work out either but still lost. That was great to see. Will check back in later. Glad to see everyone checking in and staying focused. Will do personals later.
