tinamanni - 80 oz is very admirable! I have only ever always made my goal 8 - 8 oz glasses. I do not let myself drink less than this every day. anything over this is just a bonus! I try to keep a cup/bottle with me at all times and whenever i think about it, drink it. Some days it is hard. Other days I try to gulp it down, because I know it is going to get crazy busy and I want to get it in.

Still 158lbs but not feeling as spaced out today, it hard sometimes to drink as much water while on a job site where access to a wash room is limited, I guess I'll have to make up those days when I get home.

Hello everyone! Well, the weather was beautiful in Kyoto (until the last two days) and the cherry blossoms were in full pop there AND my bonus is that they just popped here in DC and are pink and fluffy and so morale boosting!

I walked and walked in Japan, and I didn't eat much. I was lucky in that I found coke and pepsi zero everywhere, and it was less expensive than in the US -- the ONLY thing that I found that was less expensive. A coffee? try $6 - $8. The prices were something else!

About China -- I think that you could probably find meat and vegetables stir fried only in oil if you try hard. I thought about packing some atkins bars and tuna pouches, and I really should have done that (at least the tuna).

Amanda- i was in Kyoto the entire time.

I tried on a lot of clothes last night-- the ones i wore to japan were getting pretty loose and so are my winter clothes. Spring clothes (and yes i have clothes in EVERY size) were fun to try on and I was looking pretty good in everything, mostly size 6 but even some 4s! The scale told me that I only lost1.5 pounds, and I really feel as if I lost more, but that's OK - i will take it! Now, to get over that hump into the 130s!

Lost 40 pounds back then and maintained for almost 8 years...then carb creep crept. I've always been low carb, but went hard core again in March 2012.
Hey! You don't have to drink all that water!

DQ: I am very impressed you did not cheat in Japan. Would have never happen with my weak constitution. Glad you are back. I broke while my dad was in surgery for 5 days but am now right back on.

Good to see everyone else checking in and staying focused.

I just got back into Houston today. I stayed on plan, so now we are well into day 3 and 100 percent on plan. Will not make gym today, but tomorrow for sure. DNW today but here is my stats for easy copying later.

He is 75 and recovering poorly according to him and doing great according to the Doctors. He is doing really well over all just does not know it yet. I think he will be a new man and the Doctor says he will be a new man once he recovers. Amazing what they can do now a days with the human body. Thanks for asking.

Just checking in- not weighing today as will wait til tomorrow morning- got on the scale 2 days ago and had gone up 3lbs, and the resulting depression is not worth it. I can't just shrug it off, so I will only weigh every few days if that's ok. Hope you're all well!

Thank you KEMP: I seem to have hit a spot I have been in before- I lose a bit of weight and then my emotions catch up with me. I did about 30 seconds of stomach exercise and burst into tears and don't know why...all these past issues started surfacing and I felt like my own version of the Biggest Loser! You know, the bits where they sit down with the contestants and talk to them about why they are fat.

Anyway, so it would seem I have alot of resentment and pain surrounding my eating habits and my head is hurting.

This is hard I know it is hard, so I am always grateful to come here to the LCF board.

I am very excited that the scale is going in the right direction. Also, I am excited that I have been getting up early every morning for 3 mornings IN A ROW to work out. What a difference it has made!

Well off and running, day 4 started today. Down 10.2 over the 4 days is awesome, but now the really hard part is coming, actually losing fat!!!! Dang fat I hate you!!!!

Pink: Can you please post a daily menu of what you typically eat. Are you doing exercise of any kind? I see from your stats that you do not have very much to lose and that is a really huge factor in speed of weight loss. When I get within 20 pounds of my goal it comes off very slow, maybe a pound a week. Just trying to help. I started with close to a 90 pounds to lose. I have lost close to half that in just under 2.5 months. That includes quite a few days of stalls and 10 plus days of being off plan completely, like eating only carbs for 10 days during that time. I hope you stay the course and see the power of this WOE, it will work but sometimes takes a bit to kick in.

Hey guys. Haven't weighed in this week. I won an all expense paid trip to LA (from Connecticut) from Fox to see American idol. Pretty exciting but that's where I've been these few days. The other exciting news is that my girlfriend and I decided to elope on this trip!!!! Today's the day! Anyways I've been good through it all except for a few French fries last night with ketchup. I'm excited to get home and weigh in. I'll talk to you guys on Saturday morning a whole new MARRIED man and hopefully a few pounds lighter. Good job to all the losers on here as well. It's kept motivated all trip!!!
