I have just realized I'm the heaviest I've ever been. I'm 170 at 5'7. I got married last July and between some lbs I gained before and after, I've gained a total of 25 lbs within the last year or year and a half.

I want to be anywhere between 130-145. My goal for now is 135 but I will reevaluate once I get close.

So the point is that today was my DAY 1

I'd love to have some buddies who are similarly motivated and really want to do this. Please join me. We can update each day on how we are doing.

Hope I get some friends joining me here!

I'm hoping this takes 4 months. I know weightloss is unpredictable but I will be trying HARD and not slacking because I have a timeline.

Welcome! You are welcome to join us in the March Challenge! It is a great group of motivated folks who cheer each other on! We post weight, meals, exercise, etc. so it is a great way to stay focused and share tips for success!

I am in... I posted another threat but can easily join you. I lost about 30 pounds on Atkins about 2 years ago and have kept most of it off until recently when it started to creep back on. My stats are current 165/goal 135. I am very good at keeping the carb count low (under 20 grams a day) but have a terrible problem with portion control. How I love my low carb foods!

Today was my day one and I came in at 18 grams of carbs and just over 2000 calories. I also walked briskly for 30 mins with hills, which must count for something.

Hope to see the pounds melting away anyway.... How did you do on day 1?
