Good morning everyone! How is March going? I was unsure yesterday whether it came in like a lion or a lamb -- flipped a coin - it was a lion.
Yesterday i had scrambled eggs and two pieces of bacon in the morning (from the korean place around the corner at work- i don't think they'd add anything to it....or would they?)
and last night had some tofu shirataki noodles-- the refrigerated kind - which i happened to find.... 1 or two carbs for the package-- and made a little cheesycream sauce with some tabasco added. it was just OK, but sure filled me up. I haven't had any for -- more than a year, I'd say-- I have a box of the non tofu "noodles" -- somewhere. It's supposed to be almost all fiber. hmmmm.

Way to go passionate!!!
Welcome new folks and new old folks (or is it old new folks!) WE are all DETERMINED and we will prevail!

No, I do like them, it's just that I've been having eggs every day for two weeks now, and got slightly sick/bored of them. I usually have two scrambled eggs, two pieces of bacon, half an avocade with lime juice and one or two cherry tomatoes for breakfast, but haven't felt like having that yesterday or today.

March 2 242

Well no weight loss but sure just water weight. I feel great today that is for sure. Htting the gym hard today with a lot of yard work so hope to see some results in the morning.

Julie: Nice whoosh, that is awesome, and must feel great. Keep up the good work

Straphe: On the way down already, way to go, hope the trend continues.

Passionatefire: ONDERLAND!!!! Way to start the month out with a bang!!!! I have said it before but all I need to do is lose a small 4 year old child and I will be right with you.

Kept it to 1500 calories yesterday with a whopping 5 carbs, going to go real low today and try and bang out a a 1000 calorie day with 2 carbs only and break through this mini stall of 2 days. Need to win that challenge and only have 2 days left.

Finally met my February goal! I was surprised because I ate quite a bit for me yesterday, all on plan, but some of it late at night, which I try NEVER to do.

Anyway, it is what it is-sometimes it just takes me 6 days to drop a pound no matter if I have sugar free candy, cheese, or not.

I'm learning that there is not always some hidden culprit or something I did or didn't do when I don't get the loss I wanted on the scales.

The important thing to remember is that it is always heading down, one way or another, I just need to be patient.

Yesterday's menu:

B: Three egg omelette 4 pieces of bacon
S: 4 Deviled eggs
L: Plain hamburger patty
S: 3 Deviled eggs
D: Two small chicken thighs
Late night snack: 1 scrambled egg, hot tea, 1 piece of bacon, 3 sausage patties, two pieces sf candy (very naughty-I know, I was starving, and have no idea why...)

March goal:187

3/1: 191.6
3/2: 190.6 February goal met!!! Yay!

SO excited to join the March challenge! I had a fantastic week this last week and am now down to 194! I lost 21 pounds in a month. I'm over the moon happy with that.
March goal? I want to hit 184. I think ten pounds is doable!

Welcome Bethany and Ebony.

Kizz: Great on the loss, finally, I bet you are one happy person today. It is strange sometimes I will lose after a 1900 calorie day and then not lose at all on a 1000 calorie day. I am tired of trying to figure it out so down is the goal. Just not up. I say that but you know I go crazy if if I stall. I am haveing just a 2 day stall and am about to go nuts. Hitting it hard today. So hope for good in the results in the morning.

Thanks kemp! I am so close to goal, I think that's why my body is fighting for every little pound. I AM happy today. You know it's easy to feel frustrated when the scales stay the same for more then a day or two. Makes you feel like your not doing enough or did something wrong, just sort of second guessing ourselves, idk. You have been doing so great, I'm def. jealous. You never give up, what a great attitude!!! I love the way you are so encouraging to everyone here on the boards.

BTW, that fish you are holding in your picture, wow! I want to lose HIM!!! How much did that bad boy weigh, anyway? I love fishing, but I must say, I have never come close to catching one like him!!!

March Goal ~ 275

3/1 - 288.6
3/2 - 286.6

Cutting out some of the bacon yesterday seemed to help, and I was down 2 pounds this morning!! I'm still worried about how spring break will go when my kids come down, but I'm going to stay 100% on plan until then, and HOPE to do the same while they're here. The biggest challenge may just be getting my water in, since we may be taking some day trips while they're here. But I have 2 more weeks before that happens, so I'll just keep doing my best until then.

CONGRATULATIONS PassionateFire on getting into ONEderland! I can't even remember the last time I was there. A VERY VERY long time ago, I'm sure. Hope to join you there by the end of the year!

So many great losses! Kemp, you're a constant inspiration with your great attitude and determination!

Mthergoos WTG!

Well tonight I had some small sausages 1 carb each and I made cauliflower and broccoli mash - I have never made the mash before but I've read lots about people using it - its was delicious and so filling, I added butter, cheese, salt and pepper and it was yummy!

100% day again for me, I think I'm finally back in the zone and feel I can cope without even a single cheat bite of anything I'm going to need all that strength tomorrow as its my birthday and the house will be full of cake as my whole family are coming over

Happy Saturday all!!!! xxx

Induction Day 2!
First day binge free in months. Ate on plan but didn't track.

Eats for the day:

B: 3 poached eggs; coffee with cream
L: leftover cabbage/chicken/curry stir fry
D: steak and asparagus

Snacks: cheese, nitrite free pepperoni, sf hot chocolate with whipped cream

Pretty good with my water. Head ache is better today. Off to track my food.

How is everyone doing?

Kizz: That is a 9 pounder 26 inches long. Nice bass for sure. Thanks, you are the first to ask about it. Glad you are keeping a good attitude and sticking with it, we will get there toghether and keep pushing each other.

Portia: One day at a time. You can do this thing chicken wing.

Mothergoose: Happy birthday a day early.

Finally made it to the gym today after missing yesterday. I did 80 minutes on the stair master. They replace the machines so the numbers were a bit different, I think more realistic. Said I burned 800 calories, did 193 floors. The new ones do not do miles but had a average heart rate at about 85 percent over the whole time. That is getting it done. Come on scale love me in the morning. Looking forward to everyones loss pounds in tomorrow. We can do it!!!!!

Julie: You should be proud about that trip. I have to avoid movies the first month because I just cannot stay focused with the smell of butter popcorn just to the left and the right and behind and in front of me. I have to sneak a big bag of low carb treats in and that usually saves me.

DQ: No next weekend is the weekend. So 6 more days till, hope I do not cheat to much. And make that behind any bigger.

This weekend is the last weekend before I have to weigh in on Monday for the big 40 day challenge. Hit it hard today at the gym, I got it all done in the yard today so that dang scale better be my friend in the morning. If not then another day of hard workouts tomorrow also. I am so happy I have stayed focused for the whole time I have done the challenge. We will see in the morning.
