It is my super active day today where I do about 10,000 steps just in the morning doing all the errands and groceries down in town on foot as I don't drive.
If I am careful to watch my food intake it should show up on the scale.

Best reason yet I suppose
If you are, I have seen a lot on the web recently about people having lowish carb pregnancies(just adding berries and oats or something)and ending up with healthy babies and smaller at the end than they started.It is a thought...

Anyway congrats if you are.I have 3 but I am down to one 12 year old left in the house.

My goal might've been a tiny bit too ambitious, but if I would've kept with it 100%, I might already be there. Meh, gotta live life as well as losing weight is what I think. Gonna hit the gym today, been exactly a week since my last workout.

I drew up a graph of my weight since I started, and I noticed that in the first month I lost 20 pounds, and in the second month 10 pounds. I'm in my third month, if this trend continues, I'll only drop 5 pounds by the middle of April. I wouldn't be happy with that, hopefully it'll be way more than 5 pounds.

Straphe: I track everything also. I use a online tracker for food and weight and I love the graphs that is uses, even can put it into pie charts. Pretty neat. I even keep a separate spread sheet on the side in case the web page goes down. Anyway as soon as I think I have an average, or if I eat this or do not do this I will lose this, I am proven wrong. Now it is just stay focused, nose to the grind and you lose. If I cheat I gain. If I eat nuts or heavy on calories I do not lose nearly as fast. If I do not workout 5 days a week I may not lose as fast. (this to is sometimes wrong) The body does what it wants to do sometimes and nothing we do will change that. Sometimes good like a big whoosh and sometimes horrible with week long stalls. As everyone always says the scale is not the only way to measure success when doing this WOE.

Passionatfire: You are only 1.6 Pounds from goal, you got this in the bag. 10 more days to go even.

Cheshire: Man girl you have been focused this month. That dang scale better get its act together!!!! 100 percent day after day. Well that 160.6 is the start of a down trend and a big whoosh, you deserve it girl. I am rooting for you.

That is 44.4 pounds in 52 days.

Anyway I have learned(or so I thought) that the overall average weight loss over the whole time on plan with cheat weekends included is not that bad. (it is actually good) And for various reasons. I know as soon as I go over 5 carbs a day I can expect to average less than 2 pounds a week. If I add nuts, or do not work out 5 days a week it slows down. If I splurge on calories it slows down weight loss. That was all until this last cheat weekend. Since I got back from a huge cheat weekend with all the bloat from salty foods and crazy sugary eating, down 20 pounds in 11 days as of this morning. I have been eating more calories since restarting , switched to a weights because I cannot do cardio and it is just melting off. Go figure. I have been dreaming of the 220's since I started 52 days ago and it is finally here. I know I may have a bounce but I will take it!!!!! I do have a cheat weekend planned starting tomorrow morning but it is coming off so well, I do not know. Guys weekend at the ranch with hunting and fishing and drinking and eating good food. I am going to play this one by ear and gut feelings. Sorry so long winded this morning just very happy. 229.6 finally in the 220's!!!

What I'm doing is not working. Ive got to knuckle down.

Im seriously thinking I will start tomorrow with VLC and give up caffeine and all artificial sweetners - this includes my generic crystal light pack that I have with 30 ounces of water every day with lunch. This one will hurt. I may have some decaf with HWC to trick my mind.

I will keep working out 6 days a week.

Ive got to be strong for the naysayers. I pray I don't punch someone in the nose.

Hitting Walmart after work to stock up on meat and eggs for tomorrow. Then Saturday I'll hit Sams Club for a serious meat stock up.

If you have any ideas or a way to transport meat and snacks that might help me, bring em on! Im ready.

I have been reading the 1972 version of Atkins threads.
Man, they changed(in my opinion wrecked) the best diet ever.Even the 2002 one I think as he got older he was trying to placate people by adding stuff.In the '72 threads hardly anyone has stalls let alone gains.
I am going looking for the original book in town.I think last time I did it that way because we didn't have bars etc in nz then and I lost 53lb in 4 months and kept it off.

I knew this seemed slow.I don't know how the 2012 style dieters lose anything!!

Kiwi-I agree. I have the 72 Atkins book and it is the best. I don't know how anyone loses following the new plan either.

Hi all well done to all the losers and big hugs to those who are sick

Very busy day today and suffering with a bit of tummy trouble so no breakfast or dinner but I had lunch and some cheese.

2 coffees with HWC

Canned tuna with mixed salad with LC dressing

Kemp - my 100% days are not producing the results though I genuinely post what I have eaten and drank but for whatever reason I'm not seeing substantial loses
