I made a list of things to do by the time I turned 40.It was quit smoking and be the weight I was at 18(and 35)at the top.
I turn 40 in late June so there is still hope.

I have added more calories to the day, yesterday was 1900. This is do to my added weight workouts on top of cardio. I am still staying under 5 carbs a day. It seems to be working right now. 220s or bust this month. I am going to have to stay extra diligent this weekend. I am now not wanting to even drink this weekend now that I am getting these kind of results. I am sure my body will have a bounce up before the end of the week. Then maybe will feel better about having a few drinks this weekend. Still got to enjoy life after all, this is a marathon not a race I keep telling myself.

Hi all- its been ages! ok 3 days since I have checked in, but I have been super busy adjusting to my new job and commuting again. I am doing fine food wise- although I got really stooped up again (I know TMI) but I think CO is really the trick for me and I am petrified of not taking the magnesium so I will keep on with that as well.

didn't workout last night after my first day, but I plan to tonight

I can't remember when I got on the scale but I was stopped up and saw a 1.5lb gain, so I am going to start focusing again and will get back on the weigh train.

A big HELLOOOOOOOO!!! to everyone hope you are all doing well!

Me Me Me! I love the workouts I do AFTER I do them. Getting motivated TO do them is another story. I did great this weekend. stair stepper, zumba, running. Again felt wonderful after each. Last night the couch won over the treadmill. I just keep trying to remind myself of that euphoric feeling I have upon completing the workouts where I push myself further than I thought I could go. And I try to do that every workout.

When I want to add more fat, I add tuna w/mayo, sour cream to my eggs along with cream and maybe even cream cheese. I usually use the condiments to increase my fat. I also have a chocolate mousse made from heavy cream and powdered SF cocoa whipped until stiff, sometimes I add sweetener and sometimes I do not. Good Luck!

Great to see everybody posting and keeping at it. Kizz so sorry you feel so bad, only good part is the scale losses. Lorias you need to win the battle each time with the treadmill and the couch, always choose treadmill. Because you may not be able to work out later. Story follows.

I will make this short as possible. I was just told by the doctors not to workout for the next 7 days. They put a special thing on my foot that cannot get wet. No sweat and wear a bag when I shower. I am heartbroken. But if I keep working out it could mean months off my feet instead of a week. So I am going to follow orders. I almost broke today after the news while at a gas station shortly after the appt. I wanted those peanut m and m's so bad. But I did not do it. (i turn to food when stressed) I have the big weekend coming up also and wanted to lose another two pounds before I left so I could have fun drinking and eating but oh well. So going to stop pouting, it could be worse that is for sure.(I am not super sick or anything) So the plan is to suck it up, stay on plan, drink like a fish this weekend and when Tuesday gets here get back in the gym and hit it hard. Slight chance they may say another week however. I was really on a good down trend this week that is now going to stop in its tracks. I guess I could lower my calories over the week to off set. Who knows. Ok that is all for me, off to sit around and think about working out!!! LOL

hi everybody spent the weekend with my daugther and the kids and i have doctors appt most days this week...
good news... friday my PCP took me off the blood pressure meds and my A1C is 4.8 so im not diabetic anymore. and my weight is still in the 230's
yesterday i took a bone density test and tomorrow i have a pap smear...hoping for more good news....

i haven't had a chance to read all the post, but i hope you all are well and staying on plan.

today even tho it cold out... i did a brisk walk up and down my block. it's been snowing off and on, in NY since the weekend....

DairyQueen: Could be that, they think it was just my rotten luck. So I fudge a bit and went and did my upper body work out with the weights only, being careful not to sweat to much. It was a whooping 275 calorie burn over 45 minutes, I would usually burn well over 600. OH well I am just going to hunker down and stay steady the rest of the week and then enjoy my weekend. Hope I at least stay at the same weight. It is only 7 days so not the end of the world. I will lose a little stamina for sure. I cannot wait until next Tuesday when I can hit the gym hard again. Will be fun to kinda of restart?!?!?!

Mydear:That is all good news way to go.

Cheshire, Nicki and Reta thanks for the shout out on the foot, I hope it gets better and I do not need the surgery. I am doing everything possible to get it better.

Great attitude, it will come off if you keep at it.

Cheshire: I have been there and it sucks, and all the advice I get is so true but it sucks. The body is a crazy mistress that does what it wants, when it wants, how it wants, as it wants, especially when you do not want it to do, when it does what it does!!!! Make sense. Keep with it Cheshire we are here for you and you are doing wells staying on plan.

With a light work out I am still down almost 1.5 pounds yesterday. I love this part of the diet when you lose a pound a day. In the last 11 days I have lost 17 pounds, of course a lot of that was post cheat BLOAT!!!! But it is fun none the less. Making cheating this weekend harder and harder to accept. I am moving down so fast right now that I do not want to stop. Almost begging for a stall so I will not feel as bad when i take that first sip of ice cold delicious beer.(or vodka soda)

Oh yea, and today will be day three of weights only exercise forced upon me. I know two days is not a set in stone thing, but I am still losing. I am doing another 45 minute light weights workout today, making sure I do not sweat. Hope to keep the down trend going.
