Cheshire: Just keep at it, you are close to goal and those last ten pounds or so should come off slowly anyway is what they say. I am just so happy that you are stay 100 percent everyday, it keeps me motivated when I stall or bounce around.
Passionatefire: Still in onderland, and I am so jealous. Straphe: The old bounce sucks sometimes but at least you are staying on plan and continuing down!!! March goal 228!!! March 1 242 March 2 242 March 3 240 March 4 238 March 5 238 March 6 237 March 7 237 March 8 238 (WTH)(going off plan at 2pm) March 9 DNW March 10 DNW March 11 249 (12 pounds gained in 3 days) March 12 245 (now that is a whoosh>>>4 pounds of water, yea!!!) March 13 242 (all water but fun none the less) March 14 238.4 (well there you go, took 3 days to lose the weekend carb fest) March 15 237.2 March 16 236.0 March 17 236.4 (up!!! what the heck, not worries, had too much cheese) March 18 234.4 (a whoosh!!!!)(40 pounds on the ground)!!!!!!! That is 40 pounds in 49 days. Boy was I one happy camper this morning. 40 pounds in 49 days with a funeral drinking weekend, A 5 day stall and a seafood fest massive cheat weekend that added 12 pounds of bloat.... I will take it!!! Stepping of the step machine today and doing weights to try and build some fat burning muscle. I then will probably step back on the step machine after the weights just to get the calorie burn. Hey it is working. But I now I need to switch it up to keep this pace going. I will be drinking this weekend at the ranch for Friday and Saturday, but have full intentions on staying focused on the food. Already called ahead and made sure I would have my VLC food on hand, and going to bring some of my own just in case. Going to try and stay away from beer and just do vodka and olive juice, drink called olive soup, that will keep carbs on pace. Drink 10 Mich ultras and that is 30 carbs ouch. Looking forward to hunting and fishing all weekend no matter what.

Good Morning!
Didn't do too bad this weekend. Went out for the graduation party on Sat night, had a few mich ultras, a few (too many) captain & diets and some pizza. I drank TONS of water yesterday and probably ate too much, but all on plan. Steak, eggs, veggies. Today will be strict on plan (always easier for me thru the week) It's weekends where I struggle. B - protein shake L - hot chicken salad & 3 celery D - corned beef and cabbage (plan on having this a couple times this week...no potatoes) coffee & lemon water to drink 3/1 - 208.8 3/2 - 210 3/3 - 209.8 3/4 - 210.2 3/5 - 210.2 3/6 - 210.2 3/7 - 210.2 WTH 3/8 - 210.6 3/9 - 210.4 3/10 - 210.6 3/11 - 213 ? 3/12 - 210.6 3/13 - 209.4 3/14 - 208.8 3/15 - 208.2 3/16 - 209.4 3/18 - 212.8 TOM (suprise!) even my face feels bloated and puffy... UGH

Cheshire-Hang in there! Your goal is not slipping away! You still have plenty of time to get rid of two little ole pounds! I know you can do it!
straphe-Hey, chocolate PLUS a loss! I'll take it, lucky you Passion-Things will turn around, it's stupid TOM's fault. Kemp-You continue to amaze me and also encourage me to continue on and eat clean. Great job, man! ceecee-Aren't you excited to weigh in next? I'm betting you'll see a loss! Good for you to not weigh every day. I wish I could keep from doing it, but I have control issues, or so he tells me...heh heh Harmsway-Sorry TOM showed up and messed things up, hang in there! Your corned beef and cabbage sound so good! I have a roast I have been meaning to make all week, but we have the flu here, so we are living on Theraflu and NyQuil while my beautiful Porterhouse steaks go bad in the fridge ![]() DairyQueen-How have you been? Whatcha been eating lately? Have you managed to cut back on the wine like you wanted to? So I was down again on the scales today, but I must attribute this to the flu we are all suffering with right now. I was awake last night in tears like a baby, everything hurt. My ears, throat, head, even my bones if you can believe that. All with a wonderful fever. This is the worst flu I have ever had. My daughter brought it home from school gave it to baby Elijah who gave it to daddy who gave it to me. Anyway, feeling a little better today, but just wanted to tell you guys so that you know when I post my menu's it's because of the flu that the are so sparse. I have been to sick to eat much. Yesterdays menu: (I'm ashamed) B: bulletproof tea L: salad with ranch and grilled chicken D: bulletproof tea March goal: 187 3/1: 191.6 3/2: 190.6 3/3: 190.6 3/4: 191.6 3/5: 191.8 3/6: 190.2 3/7: 189.8 3/8: 189.2 3/9: 189.8 3/10:189.8 3/11:189.8 3/12:188.6 3/13:189.6 3/14:188.4 3/15:188.0 3/16:187.2 Goal!!!! 3/17:185.8 (I think I sweat out this weight loss all night long with that awful fever) |

What a yucky Monday! Woke up to snow falling and then it turned to rain. Rain and 35 degrees make for a very dreary day!
Still having a great time having hubby home. Went out for pizza tonight and I had a lovely antipasto salad. So far I am doing a good job of staying focused but I will eat more than usual some days due to eating out for dinner. Kizz, hope you feel better soon! The flu is not a great weight loss plan, although it seems to be working! :-) Kemp, you continue to amaze us all with your enviable numbers!! Stay strong this weekend and be safe. Sounds like a great time! Straphe, I wish my body had the same affect after eating chocolate! :-) Hang in there CheshireGirl, Shelly, Nicki, kiwistars, Lori and PassionateFire! We can do this! Good luck with the job Lori!! Hope everyone has a great night! Julie: Wow only 3 pounds from goal. You got this in the bag. I hope I keep focused through the weekend and reach mine also.
I hit the gym hard today. Did 45 minutes of weight training followed by 60 minutes on the stair stepper. What can I say old habits die hard. It did equal a 1065 calorie burn, so I hope that gets it done on the scale in the am. If not, I feel great anyway. I do not know what weights will do for my weight loss. But I am tired of cardio and want to get some definition and get stronger. Oh and build some fat burning muscle for those cheat days in the future. That is my story and I am sticking to it. I have also upped my daily calorie count to 1600 plus a day to offset the extra workouts. I hope that does not add weight to my already big behind but everybody says that for my height and weight 1400 a day is just not enough for a guy my size. Kiwi: I did not get there over night that is for sure. 49 days ago I could barely do 30 minutes on the stair stepper at level 3. Now I can do 1.5 hours at level 9 some times 10. I just keep upping the time and level till I get more and more endurance. It is amazing how the body adjust. It is not easy to get motivated. Lots of times I will star, get 15 minutes in, and my entire being tells me to get off and go home and watch TV. As a matter of fact that happened today!!! But I stay on and it is always worth it. Especially in the mornings when I weigh in. Good luck with your workouts, if you ever need motivation to workout I will be there for you or anybody. I honestly believe it is the reason for my success.

Glad to hear it Kiwi. You are doing very well indeed if you stopped smoking. That is no easy task. I commend you for that big time. I have lost a few friends to tobacco. I am so happy I never smoked, I have enough vices that is for sure, glad smoking was not one of them!!! Working out will come. If you can do the other 2 working out is a piece of cake.
