Hi Ya'll,
Im new here, I have been on induction for 3 weeks, but more like 2 because the 3rd week didn't go so well, now going into my 4th I have lost 10lbs but it seems to have stopped, Ihave been drinking alot of green tea could this be affecting weight loss?

My first round of atkins 5 years ago, I drank green tea EVERYDAY and honestly I think it helped my weight loss. Are you adding any splenda? The weight loss does slow after a few weeks which is normal.

Welcome aboard. It is normal to loose a lot the first week then it gets slower. Some weeks I haven't lost anything followed by large losses the next week. My weight loss surely hasn't gone in a straight line. Just stay below 20 grams of carbs and trust the diet plan, it works.

The tea shouldn't be hurting you at all. But you do need to continue to watch for stuff that does effect your weight loss, so you are right in questioning everything you put in your body. You will learn as you go and it will get easier and easier.

Green tea is awesome for you and would not stall your loss, more likely the week that "didn't go so well" is catching you up. The point of Induction is to switch your body from using sugar for energy to using fat instead. Gotta stay on track to make this happen, then you will lose a lot the first few weeks, and it will slow to a good consistent amount after that. Best of luck!
