Question About Fat Eating Body Chemistry
Hi all. I finished my 14 day Induction yesterday. However, I ate differently yesterday when I ate low fat, high protein.
My question is did I screw up my body chemistry since the bod requirements change when it's moving to high fat diet?
Why did I do that? I've been losing slowly, not surprising since I'm 71 yrs young, and have been stalling.
I intend to do Induction until I reach my GOAL. However, wondering how much I screwed up my system if any. ??? Did I do any damage? I did not eat carbs though, mainly cottage cheese, cheese, and some Fage yogurt. Fish for dinner with some cream cheese, then Tbsp PB for a snack. I did lose a pound. :)

Cottage cheese and yogurt are relatively high-carb.
However, I wouldn't worry too much. One day of lowering your fat (as opposed to increasing your carbs) isn't going to mess up your balance.
My fat varies quite a bit -- from days where it's 90% of my calories to days when I have relatively little. I may see a change in my loss, the next day, but it doesn't have long-term effects the way re-introducing carbs does.
Lots of people report stalling or slow progress related to too much dairy or nuts. I don't think you would have screwed anything up by one day of lower fat.
