LC grab and go food anybody?
 
I work at a preschool full time and am constantly going. The thing that hurts me when trying to do this is not knowing simple grab and go food to go for when I need something

Any Tips? :help:

As in snacks Or foods for lunches? For snacks I try to have a zip loc bag of almonds or beef jerkey. Almonds aren't really on induction though but better then junk Lol

Pack your own.
My grab and go foods are celery strips and a piece of cold chicken cut into bites, and maybe a cheese stick, the mozerella kind that are individually wrapped.

Pork rinds.
fry pepperoni in a dry skillet to make it crisp like a cracker. store in a ziplok bag, do not refrigerate.
you can make a bunch of microwaved cheese crackers (cut a piece of sliced cheese into 12-16 pieces. use parchment paper of a paper plate. Put a few pieces on, leaving room for them to spread, and microwave about a minute. they will get crisp when they cool. you can reuse the same plate to make a big batch of them, a few at a time. Cool completely on a cutting board, then store in a paper or ziplok bag, do not refrigerate.

Also hard boiled or deviled eggs, slim jims, or cheese stuffed olives. I think the most important thing is what emel said... pack your own. My husband uses a small cooler with an ice pack as his "lunch box".

salami cream cheese and pepperocini rollups
deviled eggs
summer sausage and cheese stix
veggies and ranch
tuna salad w/ cheese crackers
leftover wings or any meat really
jello

I have nuts, cheese chips (as mentioned above) and also chicken kebabs (the one's on large cocktail sticks). I also have an Atkins day break bar in my purse for either a binge or a no-food emergency. It's not great but better than other options.
Last time I also made MIMs to take with me occasionally.

But the cheese chips are my fave for on the go as a snack, they're crunchy, easy to carry, easy to eat and no strong breath like from olives.
