196 this morning! Only thing I can think of is that I just plain couldn't sleep last night, only about 4 hrs, so I finally got up, pottied and weighed, up 1.4 lbs. Bah. Oh well, it's temporary.

PassionateFire - if you are doing 10 loads, mine if I bring over my 5??? With 2 kiddos now, it is almost impossible for me to stay ontop of anything house chore related.

I want to stay on track this weekend so I was checking out LC recipes and am going to make the White Castle casserole. it looks delish!

Well crap! I didn't get on the scale this morning. Hubby and I went out last night. I wont go into details but pizza and cocktails were involved. I'm sure the scale would be down a couple pounds today and then they'll be up for a couple days..... Back on track today.

I dread the scale for the next few days. I ate chips and salsa at my most favorite mexican today. I never eat them at any other mexican place, but I could literally drink the salsa by itself. Oh well, I'll post my weight even if it hurts

How's everyone in the Northeast today?
DairyQueen- Thanks for the update on your weather. My daughter has really enjoyed the conference and has gotten out to see a few of the sights.

B-left over salad & chicken parmesan (from Puccini's)
L-late birthday lunch with my younger daughter at bd's Mongolian Grill. A big stir fry plate of chicken,green peppers/mushrooms/onions/cucumbers/broccoli w/fajita sauce.
D-don't think I'll eat again till tomorrow!

I'm remembering to check menus before I leave home so I feel much better about eating out. If anyone's in Indian/Kentucky, Puccini's Smiling Pizza has an excellent low carb item called "Baked Roman Holiday" that has two chicken breasts capped with thin canadian ham, alfredo sauce, provolone & bacon and served with a large salad. I had to pick my youngest daughter up from Purdue yesterday and she wanted to go there because they have excellent gluten free pizzas. I was VERY happy that there was something I could have that tasted great! I was still in ketosis this morning but haven't lost anything this week.I think it because I'm having more salt/soft drinks because of traveling.

Oh the Mongolian Grill... I LOVE that place. My BFF has one were she lives and we go whenever we visit her. I would be there all the time if we had one close to where I live. It can be LC heaven for eating out.
I have been looking at videos and pics of all the snow in the northeast and all I can say is WOW!!!! I hope everyone says warm and safe.

PenPen13-The best part about Mongolian Grill is that dd & I can both safely eat there. My daughter has celiac disease so we're very limited on where she can safely eat. Funny part is my husband is a restaurant manager and neither one of us can eat at his place-Panera Bread

I ended up eating pb and crackers with milk last night after my chips and salsa. UGH! You know how it goes;you already "blew it" for the day, so your brain kicks in and says "oh have that because you've already screwed your day up!" It's hard to win that battle. It's much easier to just say no in the first place. Oh well, life goes on!

I worked so hard again yesterday and then had a gig...didn't eat much (some leftover pulled pork/chicken at work and some wine at our gig...so i'm hungry this morning!!! We have egg sandwiches at work on sundays, and i usually get one and toss the bagel. Ehich reminds me, it's time to go to work!

Well I just started back 2 weeks ago. Today is day 14 and am down 16 pounds so far. I will start the tracking at todays date. I love the start of this WOE the pounds just fall off in the beginning. good morning everybody the Bronx NY made it through the storm without to much damage, it wind up just being a snow storm for us..hope that things are getting back to normal for all others you were affected by the storm.

i'm starting this week a pound lighter...245.4 it's been so hard to lose weight lately. i'm eating on plan with no cheats, gained 5 lbs for no reason, but water retention and it's takin me forever to get it back off.....

i hear that one of the elevators in the complex is going to be up and running on wednesday..then i'll be able to walk up to the roof and cross over to that building to take that elevator. i'm hoping then i will be able to get out more.

I'd love to join you all this month! ive been lurking since i started this WOE. I'm in my second month of Atkins induction and things are certainly slowing down. I haven't really lost anything this month but I am staying strong and sticking to my routine. I walk 3 miles at 6% incline at least 5 days a week and I have cut out most snacks. Hopefully things start moving again soon!

February goal: 190 (this may be a bit ambitious)

2/3 through today - been bouncing around each day between 200 and 202

Oh boy, its lovely my weight went down but I actually came online to confess that I did not stay on plan yesterday. I ate my normal meals, but had such cravings that I ate a roll of sweets I actually wanted even more and was about to make a big plate of pasta with melted cheese but was too lazy (haha) so instead I grabbed the container with peanuts. That sounds reasonable except that I usually take a small handful. I took the container and ate loads. At least 3 handfuls
I also drank 2 glasses of diet coke... I wonder if I will see a gain tomorrow. And I wonder where on earth those terrible cravings came from.

The scale finally moved today and I am finally in ONEderland!! What a motivation! I went out this weekend and bought some new pants (one size smaller than what I've been wearing for years!). It feels so good to be so dedicated to this WOE and I now have much more confidence and motivation to stick with it! Happy Monday to all!
