Afternoon Ladies
Well my scale has not been moving....150 lbs even.. but when I went to the doctor this morning I was 147 lbs on her scale. Works for me!Anyway I had a big breakfast because I couldn't eat before the doctor's appt. Came home and had: B: 3 eggs with cheese and 4 turkey sausage patties with coffee L; don't think I will want anything D: maybe shrimp scampi Not that misery loves company but I don't feel like such a loser when you guys all seem to go up and down too without a real reason. Makes it worse when you are sticking to the plan and you go up on that stupid scale!!! Happy Hump Day! ![]() |

Hello everyone. So far this second weekof inducution has gone well. I am keeping my food pretty simple right now, eating eggs, beef patties, and salads with a little deli meat and ranch dressing. I was looking at the receipes here and looking forward to trying some later on. I have to be so careful about adding carbs. If I add anything with sugar or startch I start feeling like I am starving and usually end up eating everything in site.
Hope everyone has a great week. |

Nice weigh-in PenPen! Typically the doc's scale has me up 1-2lbs and then me eye-rolling as the nurse writes the number down. hehe

When I was pregnant I actually stopped seeing one of the nurse practitioners because she always had a comment about my weight...Nice weigh in PenPen!
Doing better today than yesterday - I was making baby food and had a few bites of sweet potato and acorn squash because I let myself get too hungry. Have a good day everyone! Last edited by labmini; 02-06-2013 at 12:32 PM.. |

Avy you need to dance around the room girl!!
Brenda I am trying to stay very simple as well. I have struggled so much with this diet because I have read so many versions. I think this Atkins 72 is going to be the best one for me. Plain and simple So today I had B: eggs, sausage and coffee D: rib eye steak marinated in Braggs amino acid and salad with blue cheese Lots of water today Katie. I don't do as well when I am off from work either. I am around the food more and then manage to think about it more. At work I have my lunch and then I am to busy to think about it. |

MY VENT FOR THE DAY: Well just as I thought, when Im home from work I don't really eat. I just don't feel hungry. I was up at 730 this morning, got my son to school at 930 and then went straight to the grocery store. I got back around 1130 and unloaded and thought to myself I better find something, I was not hungry but grabbed a string cheese and the last of the pepperoni slices, about 15. Then around 1pm I cooked up a bone-in pork chop and added HWC, parm cheese for a sauce. NO Veggies. Then I had to go into work for a staff meeting. So this evening around 630 I finally felt hungry and made 2 cheese crisp taco shells and filled them with ground beef with green chilies, cheese, lettuce, tomato, cilantro, 1/2 avacado, and sour cream. I also had some pork rinds and sour cream, ALOT. I was satisified but for some reason feel guilty. I didn't have my veggies like I normally do and the VERY FIRST time I drank today was at dinner time, by bedtime I'll only be at 32oz.

Ugh, scales not working. I think they need New batteries but I dont know where hubby keeps em. So i have to wait till tomorrow morning before i can weigh myself again.
Did quite well foodwise this morning but at lunch my DD wanted a sandwich with something sweet and the thing she chose is what I find hard to resist. I am afraid I had a few licks its almost pure sugar :s I wonder if that amount can knock me out of ketosis ... Princess Mommy, hang in there! It will go down! B - 2 hb eggs + 1 leftover sausage from yesterday L - small salad, cheese and a few licks of that sweet stuff D - zucchini with Bolognese sauce, grated cheese and crčme freche. S - maybe some peanuts or almonds

Morning everyone!!!
Feb. 1: 146 Feb. 5: 145.25 Feb. 6: 145.25 Feb. 7: 145 Looks like some weather is headed our way...hope it goes way north and bypasses us, cause i'm going to a concrt tonight and have gigs friday and saturday nights!! Last night went out to dinner...one of those new american restaurants which uses local farm produce, etc.i had an antipasto platter which was more of a charcuterie platt...carpaccio, blue cheese, some kind of reggiano, another mortadella type meat, white anchovies, etc., and we had sides of delish cauliflower with black butter ? Or was it brown? And brussels sprouts with bacon.....i left the leftovers in the car but it was way cold than my fridge outside last night!!

Welcome to all the new folks!!
Hello to everyone else! I am looking forward to more successes this month for everyone either on the scale or just with eating on plan, or restarting (as many times as it takes). I had a great time in Phoenix and Vegas - ate some incredibly delicious food (prime rib – YUM!) and am ready to get back to business. Feb goal - 165 Feb 1: 172.0 Feb 2: 171.2 Feb 6: 172.8 Feb 7: 173.8 I stayed on plan while on my mini vacation, so I'm not certain what the gain is about, but I look at my chart and see the ups and downs and can only hope... Hopefully this is that gentle rise before another nice drop. It would be great to see the 160s in the near future!

Good morning! It's Friday Eve!
Yesterday was 212.4, today was 212.2. Still up from a couple days ago, but down slightly from yesterday. I ate quite a bit last night, so the fact that there wasn't a gain is a bonus. I ended up making an alfredo with cream, butter, parm cheese, sp squash, onion, mushrooms, italian sausage & broccoli. I wanted zucchini, but I can't find any anywhere.?.?. Anybody know of a problem with zucchini crops? Today: B - atkins farmhouse scramble L - beef merlot, broccoli S - yogurt before going to the gym D - pork steak, broccoli, maybe some cottage cheese coffee and water w/lemon I drink water all.day.long. There's no way I can drink anymore than I already do, but for some reason my hands still feel swollen throughout the day. Any ideas? Congrats to everyone whether you are losing, staying on plan or are just still here plugging along do the best you can!

Afternoon Ladies
I love the fact that everyone posts what they are eating. I am always looking for new ideas!! Today B: two scrambled eggs with cheese, three slices of ham L: grilled chicken on salad with cucumbers with ranch dressing D: something with the hamburger meat I took out this morning. For those of you that live in the northeast and are expecting this crazy storm... BE SAFE AND KEEP WARM!! I hope it isn't as bad as they predict. |

B: decaf coffee w/HWC, CO and 1 splenda, 3 breakfast sausages
L: tuna w/mayo, salad w/cheese, bacobits, roma tomato, shredded cheddar, dill pickle spear, pork rinds, salsa and sour cream (yes, I was hungry) D: grilled pork chop I also plan on putting a pork loin in the crock pot to munch on this weekend. Love me some pulled pork and BBQ sauce! ETA: I'm afraid there is some hidden carb in my dressing for my salad or those processed bacobits. I have not felt this TIRED and SLEEPY since starting this WOE in Sept 2012! It could be that I am sick, but I have been under the weather for a few days and not felt like this!
