My basic recipe is:

1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tbsp Fry's cocoa

Melt, mix and pour into muffin liners, store in the fridge.

You can add "anything" to them. Crunchy peanut butter is great to use. I will probably add an equal part of butter next time I make them, just to see the texture/flavour. Lots of people use extracts, flavourings, sweeteners, etc. I would experiment. You can't go wrong with them!

Great job Kemp! Two lbs?! I'm pretty jealous! I am so close to Feb. goal I can almost taste it. It's crazy, because I really didn't think I was going to make it.

I think I'm going to do some cardio today to drop those last 5 oz. Can't wait, can't wait...

Kizz: great job keep up the momentum and add after sounds like a good idea.

Princessmommy: I attacked the gym with a double work out for a 2200 calorie burn and only ate 850 calories and 2 carbs yesteday and it seems to have done the trick. Heading to gym right now for a 900 calorie burn on the stair stepper, then will eat a sensible lunch. Will keep carbs at 2 today and calories around 1200 or less. Do not want to go into starvation mode and I cannot do low calorie days at a time. Calories so far are 360 today and 1 carb.

So starting my induction today, but will not weight in until March 1st.. Yeah I know what a cheater! , but I am so afraid to look at the scale now I can cry!

Menu for today
Coffee and cream (6 onz)
BFast: 3 boil eggs and 1 tbs of sour cream,
Lunch: devilled eggs with tuna
Dinner: 3 scramble eggs with onions, peppers, and mushrooms.
H2O: 50oz
Exercise: 1 mile walking.

hi all, I took yesterday off from work to take my baby to the dr (just a checkup, nothing serious) and didn't get online.

Also I am just embarrassed by my Sunday evening and yesterday eating habits. I don't even want to admit to this community how bad yesterday was. but today i am taking it in stride and just starting back where i am. funny thing is i am convinced i do these "mistakes" as self sabotage. what's wrong with me?

Feeling much better today! I stayed on plan yesterday and so far so good today. I'm doing the meat and egg fast for a few days to get myself back on track. I was back up to 208 (AGHHH) from being off plan all last week, but this morning was already back down to 205. I don't expect to be back under 200 by Friday, but one can dream, right?

Roxy: It happens to all of us, and I self sabatoge myself sometimes for no reason at all. I hate it but all I can do is get right back on the horsey!!!

Bethany: Way to go on staying on plan and getting back in the zone. I would kill a small animal to be 5 pounds from onderland, only a small 4 year old is all I have to lose to get there!!! LOL

Angel: Thanks and stay focused you can do it!!!

Chelshire: Great job on the 100 percent!!!

Funny how I got to ONEderland, and almost immediately got off plan. Talk about self sabotage! I need to get WAY under 200 before I even think about loosening up on the carbs.

Back at 198!! I've been hovering around 198 since 12 Feb! Getting frustrated at this point! Will stick with it though! It has to go down again at some point! The only thing I could really cut down is my dairy intake, which I hate to do. The only artificial sweetener I normally use is in my morning coffee. I will keep tweaking my portions and fat/protein levels and pray for the best!

Great to read everyone's posts! Keep sharing as it really helps to have friends on this journey!

Tasha-So good to see you back! I have wondered where you've been and hoped everything was ok. Remember I recommended the Crystal lite peach Bellini? Have you gotten a chance to try it?

Sorry you're going through so much stress at work, I go through stress in my relationship and I know how hard it can be to not turn to the only comfort I've known. Just wanted to let you know, I'm pulling for you and I hope things get better

Did not make it to the gym today but stayed low on carbs 1 for the day. with 1300 or so calories. Hope the scale does not go up.

Hello everyone!!! finally coming up for air! I had to cover a two and ahalf day medical conference (on heart devices) -- all held in the bowels of a DC hotel. I went right after work on Sunday for three hours, then Monday and today from 6:30am until 8pm. And I just wrote the first article.. so I'm BEAT. So. eating was difficult, but I got through it OK.
sunday night- a dinner symposium. I had a miller lite and some lettuce. Breakfasts at these things are always carbfests, and I stay away from the tables. Lunch yesterday was a small piece of chicken and salad. Dinner last night was a piece of beef and salad and a miller lite. Lunch today was a piece of chicken and some asparagus and two of those mini teensy patty squashes? Dinner actually was home and i had the topping of a sausage and green pepper pizza slice and two chicken wings from a place that's supposed to be really good - We the Pizza. Well, it is NOT good. anyway, i'm about to just pass out from exhaustion. and my feet are swollen. and it's raining outside.
anyway -
angelface great to have you back -- yes i have not much more to lose.
thing is, my legs and butt are really skinny but i still have a middle. meh. it WILL COME OFF!!!
EVERYONE is DOING SO GREAT!!! I think we had a pretty darned good month! (well, i could have done better but I am OK with it).

Lost 40 pounds back then and maintained for almost 8 years...then carb creep crept. I've always been low carb, but went hard core again in March 2012.

Well looks like I got my whoosh over the last two days!!! Today is day 30 on plan, and other than a 2 glasses of wine and to many to count Mich. ultra on the weekend of my buddies funeral there have been no varations from VLC induction lifestyle and it has resulted in a 31 pound loss!!!!! I had to skip the gym yesteday because I was so busy with doctors and the such. Looks like I have torsal tunnel, same as corporal tunnel but in the foot. Can still work out but have to take it easy. Oh well better than being told I cannot work out at all.

Passonitefire: Way to go on the whoosh you had.

DairyQueen: Way to stick to the plan while in the Bowels of a hotel that has to be tough. But sounds like you had the mental will to get it done. That is a motivation for me to stay focused tonight at the Houston Rodeo that is in town for the next 21 days. It is a huge event here in town and I get invited all the time due to my business. I said no last night, but am going tonight. Free beer and a carb fest for sure. They always have fajitas so I can eat the beef and chicken out. I am to far in the zone to give up now for a few tortillas and some chips. Keep up the good work you are almost at goal.
