Princess mommy I am having one of those WTH more like WTH moments right now myself. Am none to happy with the scale. I am going to do a VLC and very low calorie day today.

B-egg beaters and 1 piece bacon, 1 carb and 90 calories
L-pork loin 8 oz, 0 carb and 200 calories
D-pork loin 8 oz, 0 carb and 200 calories

Total for the day, 1 carb and 490 calories hope that will get the scale moving today. If I need more calories It will come from chicken breast or more pork loin. Man I am pissed, I do at least a 3500 calorie difference each day and should lose a pound a day at the least if all these experts are correct which they apparently are not. Going to do a work out this morning and then go back this afternoon and do another one that should total 1600 calories at the gym, Plus going to sneak in a round of golf today f I can and walk that for another 1800 calorie burn if that does not get the scale moving I will remove more food and add more exercise until I break through. VENTING!!!

Good morning everyone! I am taking a scale break until Thursday. I can't deal with the up and down right now. I would love to reach my goal of 168 and I have been flirting up and down with it. I have some hormonal stuff going on, thus giving myself a break from the scale.

Today is a day to get sweaty- Pilates yesterday so a good sweat session is in order today.

I still need to watch portions, and keep up with the CO as it is helping keeping it all moving.

So that's the plan for now.

Good job everyone, Katie way to go, and not throw in the towel, so happy to see your success. For all who are stalled it'll break, it has to!!!!!!

Thanks for all of the support thus far this month- we have to do a March thread, I know I need it!!!!

Labmini that sounds like a good idea! I may need to do that myself! I Know that weight can flucuate day to day but Dang todays is crazy! Maybe I ate to much salad yesterday? But I wouldn't think to many Good veggies would cause the scale to go Up. Sometimes I feel like i'll Never reach my goal!

I will be starting a March thread at the end of the week if anyone is interested. I know I sure need it. I would love to get into onederland next month, but I think my real focus should be just to remain on plan for the month and do a better job of tracking again. Going up and down the same 3-4 pounds can't be good. I'm not whining, I'm just stating the facts. I'm doing it to myself and I take full responsibilty. Just writing it down so I can refer back to it later.

Good Morning!

Looking back over my stats the last two months, I can't believe how hard it is to take off one single pound, and yet, I could easily gain 2-3 pounds over night. This makes me even more determined to never go back to eating crap. I used to veg out in front of the TV at night with Doritos and then go for something sweet like ice-cream when I got sick of those. Now I watch TV and don't even think about food, because it's really not too fun to snack on deviled eggs and chicken in front of the tube.

So I think I might be over my meat and eggs fast for now, 6 days is about as much as I can manage. Last night I was craving sweets so bad, because normally I can have a piece of sugar free candy, and not being able to have even that, makes me want much worse things. Somehow I did not give in, but I'm taking no more chances. I normally do not EVER have cravings like that when just on induction, and so I will end my m/e fast today.

Can't wait to start the March challenge, although weighing in everyday can be emotionally challenging for me (understatement) I can't seem to help myself. I'm like a crack addict for the scale, even though
a bad weigh in can set the entire tone for my day

Avy: What's HCG? It seems to be working, your numbers look good

Cheshire: Hope you feel better, hun!

Kemp: Hang in there. It's just a stall. Maybe you'll get a big woosh soon! After all, nobody can keep putting out numbers like that forever, you just got spoiled dropping so much all the time that when it started to slow, it's frustrating you. I know, because this happened to me and I'm sure a lot more people. Just hang in there, you're doing great, and you know you are staying on plan, your body is just saying, "Woah there! Slow down a minute, buddy!"

Katiejo: Great job! Aren't you glad you didn't throw in the towel? Your poor boy going to the dentist-how old is he? I was going to tell you to treat him to a Mc Donalds ice-cream cone after, buts that counter productive, no? lol

Labmini: I feel ya! The scale is my friend/enemy wise choice to not weigh everyday, if you can manage (I cannot)

Passionatefire:Great job! You are so close to your goal. I think you've had a great month!

Kizz-I'm glad I stuck it out. Maybe I should not weight myself on the scale everyday. I am an addict too, I actually thought about removing it from the bathroom all together lol
My son is 5, 6 April 4th. The dentist ended up doing 4 crowns, so all bottom molars are now capped. Poor baby.
We came straight home afterwards. He's pretty loopy from the meds they gave him and his mouth is numb. He's like a lil drunk he has me laughing!! Now off to cuddle with him in hopes that he can sleep through until the meds wear off.

I was on and off plan all week last week and then had a terrible weekend. We got snowed in and that really messed me up. Being stuck in the house just made it too easy to go for carb-y snacks. I'm up quite a bit, I'm sad to say, but hoping doing a meat and egg fast for a few days will get me back on track. Sigh...

Hi everyone,

It been a long time!! I think since September 2012, when I was having problems keeping up with low-carb due to my mother-in-law staying in my house and everyones eating habits turning around her.
But I am back and to stay at least until she gets back, we are seriously considering renting an appartment just for her, since out of three sons in the area she really can not stay with any of us. Sorry for her, but she alters every one mentally and not being in a good state of mind affects us in every way incluring in our eating styles.

Once we start getting closer to her arrival I give updates to that matter.

Weight wise I have a lot to catch up to do.. since of course I been terrible the last five months. (my kids would say, "it wasn't me")

I have not weighted my self yet.. I am very afraid to get hit by reality.. so I am going to start induction and after three day I will weight myself.. Girl Scout Promise..

It is so nice to see some familiar faces, mydear, dairyqueen, and some others.

Well, will start posting my menus tomorrow.. and I am so glad to be back with my lowcarb family!

Angelface! I know all about people who's very presence can upset the household and make it hard to stay on any diet. Hopefully with everyone's support you will continue to lose again!

Kizz: You are changing your habits at night and that is awesome. Meat and egg fast is brutal when you do it for more than a few days that is for sure. I tried to add nuts and stuff but that just stalled me out for 5 days. Way to go on avoiding worse things.

Well I have had the day to cool off from this mornings venting. I had to go to lunch today so I had to punt on the eats, but did great with 3 and a half naked tenders from Buffalo Wild wings, and 4 naked flats so I am still under 500 calories for the day according to the tracker. Dipped everything in mustard.

Yes I have now started tracking everything that enters my mouth, should have been doing it anyway. Had my wife bring the almonds that I bought and cheese to work so I would not snack on them while stalled. I will figure out this stall asap now that I am tracking everything. I hit the gym super hard today, did 77 minutes on the stair stepper for a 1086 calorie burn, 6.3 miles and 302 floors climbed. And just for good measure I am going back to the gym tonight with the wife and do it again, hopefully that, with only eating 800 or so calories, should result in some luck on the scale tomorrow. Man I sure am drinking lots of water today to stave off the hunger. But I am so results driven, I need to lose 3 pounds in the next 3 days to meet my second goal of 244.

And today is day 28 of the restart and I have lost 27 pounds. I can live with that, should have been 31 but who is counting. ME THATS WHO!!! LOL Well back to the gym.

Anyone here ever try a KeVita drink?? I saw this in the store last night and grabbed it. This whole time I've only ever drank water since starting this WOE. I was just curious if anyone has tried this or know how low carb friendly it is.

The scale finally moved a tiny bit today! I am afraid to get too excited though. I had a bit of an issue with some SF gummy bears today and now I feel like someone blew up a balloon in my belly! This isn't my first encounter with SF gummy bears so you would think I would have learned my lesson! However, I was craving something sweet and figured a few SF gummy bears would satisfy my craving. However, a few handfuls later I knew it would be a long painful recovery. I was good today otherwise! :-)

Yesterday I went for a run (1.5 miles) and I did 2 miles on the treadmill. Tonight my belly hurts too much to even consider exercising! Sometimes having female/hormone induced cravings really sucks! I pray I make it through the rest of the week without any more mishaps!! :-)

B: chorizo/egg/cheese quiche on an oopsie roll, coffee with HWC x2
L: 2 chorizo/egg/cheese quiche, 2 oopsie rolls, sour cream
D: beef soup with celery and broccoli
S: way too many SF gummy bears :-(

February goal: 190 (at this point, it is clear this was way too ambitious!)

Julie: You are doing good, way to go on the exercise also.

I made it through the day today. I only ate 705 calories and have shut it down for food. Going to try and make it through the evening of tv without snacking. Will check in in the am.

When I'm plain low carb, they are a staple. I love my coconut oil reese peanut butter cups. :
