Had a great Valentine's Day. I have noticed that I am suddenly losing again now that I have stopped eating when I am not hungry, just because it is time or being afraid i was not "eating enough". I just have not been that hungry lately and I get full really quick.

Yesterday I had HWC with sf sweetener (thanks to Shelly, it's my new fave.) and New York Strip steak with spinach sauteed in butter. My amazing country boy surprised me with a gift card to a day at the spa with an extra to take a friend. I kind of felt bad cause all I got him was a box of York peppermint patty's....

Everyone is doing great-we are at the halfway point, I'm wondering if maybe I set my goal too high for the month? Time will tell

OH-NO, just found out one of my good friends has gone into Gods hands, after a long battle with heart disease, the funeral will be Monday. Which means next two days will be a carb fest at his family house in my home town of Beaumont. I hope to go home tomorrow after breakfast and stay till Monday. I will do my best to stay focused but this will not be easy. Will try and check in when I can.

I had a very strong sweet craving last night so i opened up my SF Russell Stovers candies and ended up eating 4 pieces! They are delicious, but i certainly regretted the decision the rest of the night as my tummy was in serious distress. it is still not right this morning! Even though I knew that would likely happen I did it anyway! :-( I guess it is still better than eating the real stuff and falling off the wagon!

Oh boy, so sorry people, I feel like I've let everybody down since I'm supposed to also offer positive support and all, but I had a really bad evening! My day sucked and instead of keeping my head straight I ate 5 DONUTS! I could cry!
But I am back on plan today. I'm not having a great month and it's been getting me down, but I'm not giving up.
My weight was the same this morning (184 lbs) but I'm sure I'll see those donuts on the scales tomorrow

Kemp, so sorry to hear about your friend, stay strong in so many ways
Eve- jump rit backon the wagon, there is plenty of room! If its confession time, I made chocolate buns for the hubs for v-day and have eaten 2 since! And I am paying for it. Up a pound and a half.

Time to buckle down, was just appalled at how much I had to spend at the grocery store, so if I am going to put money into this I better stay on plan!!!!

Well I had Indian food last night and thought I'd made good choices but maybe not I had chicken tikka meat - for those that dont know Chicken Tikka is a chicken dish served in Punjabi cuisine. It is traditionally small pieces of boneless chicken baked using skewers, in a clay-based oven called a tandoor, after marinating in spices and yogurt. It was served with a yogurt and mint dressing (maybe hidden sugars???). I did also have and ounce of sea salted almonds so that maybe the problem?

Anyway back to normal today so hope scales show a loss tomorrow

Chicken breast stuffed with mozzarella with tomatoes

Not sure what else yet.

Started a round of hCG after I joined the challenge.

Moving into day 6 of P2. weighed myself this morning, 194.4. Then 5 mins later 195.4...not sure which to believe, but I want to go with the first lol. This is the weight I was the day before loading...so one week almost, and no headway, this is frustrating, but, I committed tot he 21 day protocol, so I'll stick with it.

Eva! Don't feel bad! Everyone has those days! The important thing is that you didn't give up and the scales were very forgiving! I don't think they will go up tomorrow as long as you get right back on plan and don't slip up again. I was thinking, if I were to eat five donuts what kind would they be, probably those chocolate bizmarks...yuuuummmmm!

Got a chance to try Panera Breads hidden menu last night. Had The Power steak wraps with pesto. Pretty tasty, but def. not worth $8.48

I've been reading them throughout the day (too little time to respond tho) and it really helped me stay on track.
B 2 hb eggs
L lc chilli (kizz I know what you mean, I miss the beans too) with creme freche and a little grated cheese
D chicken wings fried in loads if lovely butter with roccoli dipped in the grease from the pan.
S Bell pepper slices.
Lots of water.

Kizz, strangely enough I didn't even like the donuts that much (plain sugared) - I just got that carb kick from it (im such a carb addict).
KatieJo, you're doing great!
Nicki, I think it's great you're going to the gym so often and that you and your husband are in this together (i envy that).

Cheshire girl, I love chicken tikka. They have a soup at the local supermarkets here but it has too many carbs and don't worry about the skittles, just get back on track!

I was a bit weak last night and ended up eating fried rice with my steak, chicken and shrimp last night at Benihana's. To make matters worse, I had a few bites of my friend's ice cream birthday cake right afterwards. After a night of stomach distress, I was up 2 lbs this morning. I know I could have resisted temptation, but sadly I didn't want to. I truly did enjoy my meal and will now have to work that much harder the next dew days to recover. The weird thing is i woke up starving this morning and i haven't woke up hungry since i started this WOE. Now I am headed to the treadmill to burn off all those extra calories!

Happy Sunday!!! Beautiful blue skies here today. It looks like it should be around 60 degrees.....I'm dreaming though. I think the highis only supposed to be in the 20's.....
