ENOUGH!!! I'm tired of starting and restarting!

I have finally had enough... This time I am going to stick with it and would love some friends to vent with. I have started and restarted probably 20 times in the last 6 years. I finally have realized that if I want:

To Lose weight
Be healthier
Have the Depression lift
Have control over my mind( check out links between anxiety and gluten)
etc etc etc

I need to do this and stop "Screwing" around! So Here I am asking for help. I have read all the books, know a ton of the websites etc etc etc... and I know I am READY! So

Here goes =)

Here's what I am eating today

Breakfast:
2 eggs omelet fried in butter with cheese and hot sauce - net carbs 2( i believe)

Lunch -
Salad with lunch meat peppericini's and ranch (Net carbs around 5)

Dinner - Chicken and veggies... just not sure what yet... will be checking out Linda's recipes later unless someone's got something good! I need to make sure they are also low fat/cholestrol - for my mom...

Anyone want to join the "I HAVE HAD ENOUGH CLUB" with me? FYI I also have Hashimoto's so I know this is going to help!

I'm actually in central, about an hour or so from Ormond beach. my kylie is 8. and i've been trying to do a strict induction for what seems like forever. but i can never get past about 4 or 5 days. it seems the weekends always wind up being my downfall. that or stressfull days :P I just gotta stop making excuses and stick with it! We're a very active family, we are at the gym usually 3 days a week, we play raquetball (even my daughter plays with us) love camping and outdoors, but i can't seem to get the food under control. i always cave......

I'm west coast... DD is 13 (a level 9 competetive gymnast) and I am always running for her .... and I fall by the wayside... I decided that ENOUGH when I had to take her to the beach to do Flips for Tips in Jeans... It's OVER! We can inspire each other =)

Can I join too!
Today is my first day of intro.
I have gained 55lbs in the last 13yrs. I know it's a long time but the last 25 have been in the last year.
It needs to stop.
today so far I have had

B - omelet with sausage, cheese, and ham
Snack - cheese and summer sausage
Lunch - I plan on having tuna with a little pickle, cheese and egg

Dinner I'm not sure yet

Be careful on the pickle... the sodium can really screw up things =/

Absolutely Welcome Mya!

Looks like we are all in the same boat!
Starting and stopping all the time.
I don't want to be embarrassed to go to the golf course with my hubby and always thinking people are saying "man she has gained alot of weight"

I'm a size 14 but they are tight! I want to be 10 or 12 but with a toned body.
I have started working out. Last night was it! I saw myself in the full length mirror with the rest of the class and bam! I'm the biggest one! Hate that damn mirror but it really gave me a wake up call!

I hope there is room for one more who is tired of trying a million times and giving up! So what causes you to give up? It is hard to commit to such a strict diet plan when not everyone is on board. I feel somewhat lucky that it is just me and BF so I don't have an entire family to contend with on my eating habits but on the other side it's just us so cooking for two makes it so much more easy to give in on things I shouldn't. I was thinking trying to keep it as simple as possible this time around. Meat, cheese and salads. It's a lot harder than it sounds but I don't want to complicate things with how many carbs just eat basic to get past the desire for sugars. The only thing harder to give up then sugar is alcohol. I hope I have the strength to make it past that mark so I can bust through this.

Welcome Sherri

My problem is after work I am running around like a chicken without a head and the closest drive through is how I usually eat! I need to learn to plan better and take things with me. My DD practices 3 nights a week which are the nights I usually cheat//// plus when we travel....So I need to PLAN PLAN PLAN and maybe that will work!

I am restarting again at my heaviest I have EVER been. However, I have been heavily involved with recipes on Pinterest where before I was not. I was not into MAKING recipes, but now I am and have been. This may be the difference for me this time around. I have found so many recipes on Pinterest that I have already tried, and I can also use for Low Carbing. Today is my first day of induction after about 3 years, and I really think I might succeed! Looking forward to hanging out here and supporting others.

I have two coworkers that are also doing it as well, and we have been having to spend alot of time in the bathroom since starting! Wow, I don't remember that!

Welcome

Yup the whole idea is.... I am a profession quitter... I start and get sidetracked and then I start kicking myself... and it goes on and on

No More... This is where I plan on venting and check and posting and being HAPPY... I am TIRED of being TIRED!

So again WELCOME

SO for dinner.. I really couldn't find anything I felt like eating so I created something... I will call Um Taco Chicken?

I pounded 6 chicken breast really thin... added some spices, picante sauce and some pepperocini's (I LOVE THESE) baked them in the oven... threw them on top of some nice cooked broccoli and walla dinner.. even the kid like it YEAH and she can be a bit of a pain sometimes!

What did you guys make?

I made the Tuscano soup from Linda's site and a green salad. It was the first time we have had it and it's a keeper!

And do I ever hear you concerning "being tired of being tired"!

Morning all! what an awesome group we have going here already!! Hello to you all!!

I am up and moving today but that's about all. I was so tired last night I got home from work and didn't move off the couch the rest of the night. this is why i hate starting over again and again. you gotta go thru the whole tiredness, headaches, and well just not feeling very froggy for the first few days, but this too shall pass. And this time I'm sticking to it so I don't have to go through this again.

My menu looks like this today:

B - Atkins bar (as much as i don't like depending on these, i was just not up for prep-ing anything last night for this morning)
L - Chicken tenders (skinless) and roasted cabbage
D - I haven't thought that far ahead yet, thinking maybe some pork chops and veggies
S - cheese stick and pepperoni chips (i have come to really like these, remind me alot of potato chips)

I miss my Pepsi ALREADY! I am afraid to drink diet... since I was an addict for so many years.... Seltzer isn't cutting it.........any suggestions?

Also..I drink coffee most mornings... I know it's BAD.... but I can't get moving without caffeine...

I have decided to venture to our local pool this Saturday w/ DD and Friend to get a little color. I am a little scared... but I will get through it

What have you done lately that you have been afraid to do?

Good job on the loss, Kylie! I'm not a fan of diet soda, but the diet cherry 7up isn't too bad as far as after taste, and it gives the fizz factor. I have been drinking mostly iced tea.

How do you do your pepperoni chips, ima?

I wasn't in the mood for breakfast so had more of a brunch. Leftover soup and a cream cheese muffin. Dinner will be a taco bake and salad.

kim - today is a beautiful day out here, supposed to be 85! What wonderful January weather we have here i hope its the same kind of weather this weekend for you by the pool

as far as drinks, i am probably the worse one to talk to about it. I am completely addicted to coke zero. that is my vice. i drink at least 4 a day, at least. i go thru phases when i try really hard to be good and i get down to like 2 a day, but that's as low as I go. idk that i could ever completely give it up.

Deb - the pepperoni chips are super easy. i just lay a couple paper towels out on a plate and put as many pepperonis as i can fit on there and micro for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes until they're nice and crispy. and that's it, nice quick snack. the girls in my office tease me cause when i do them it makes the office smell like pepperoni pizza. but i love 'em like i said they remind me alot of potato chips with the crunch. and sometimes i use them with a cream cheese/sour cream mix dip. even yummier.

Thanks! My husband loves pepperoni, so I am sure this is a snack he'd like to have around too. I'll be sure to try them.
