Flaxseed Allowed?
I found this recipe for Flax Crackers. Before I get too excited, I wanted to make sure I can have flaxseed while on induction.
Thanks! |
Those look good! I hope someone that knows will answer-I want to make them!

They are allowed in moderation. They are the only seed that is allowed, and the goal of them being in the plan is to make sure you have enough fiber. I regularly put them on salads or hide them in other places for that purpose.
That said, as a seed, it is possible they could influence your initial loss. Don't go crazy with them and if you do stall, consider testing them as a hypothesis. |
My plan is DANDR. 1 Tbl a day of flaxmeal is allowed.
If you want a cracker, you can fry pepperoni in a dry skillet til it gets crisp. Or you can take a slice of cheese. Cut it into 16 squares, put on parchment paper or an unwaxed paper plate, leaving room between because they spread out. Nuke for a minute or until they start to get browned. I like muenster, but the original recipe used american. Cheese sticks work, too. Cut them into 8 pieces. ETA... sometimes the sliced cheese i get is too thin, in which case I stack 2 squares together before nuking. |
Yes you can eat it. Look up the recipe for 1 minute muffins. They help out a lot and they taste pretty good.
