Ketosis Strips

I started induction on 12/26/12 and recently bought the Ketone strips. My color is pink to medium pink. So between small and moderate. Is that okay? I hear everyone else talking about being in purple. Thanks for your help!

Yay, any color means you are in Ketosis. Depending on how hydrated you are can change the color. First thing in the morning will show darker than midday. SO I always measure the same time everyday and make sure I am drinking my water. I think you will find you fluctuate everyday but as long as there are ketones than you are still burning fat.

any colour means that you are in ketosis. It has been described as like being pregnant you are either in ketosis or you are not. the colour can depend on lots of factors like hydration, exercise, how much your body has used the ketones it has made. So don't worry too much. Also some people never show a colour on the strips as they only measure 1 type of ketones whereas there are a number of types that our bodies produce.
