Hi everyone, I would love to have an Induction buddy! I am originally from Florida but moved to Lebanon 3 years ago to be with Hubby. We have a 1 year old and it tough running behind her. I did Atkins/HCG 5-6 years ago and managed to lose 50lbs bringing me right at 200lbs, the smallest I have ever been in my adult life. After having the baby I have gained the 50lbs back, I want to have the energy to run after my little girl.

I need to have the energy to keep up with him that is why I'm trying to get back to my pregnancy weight. It seems like since I hit 40 I have aches and pains that i didnt use to have and i know having all this weight on me is probably a major contributor. Be sure to check in everyday for encouragement, tips and support. Be sure to list your BLDS meun for the day. |

its a roll that was developed by one of the LCers, I think she is on this forum, from her blog, that are a variation on the atkins revolution rolls. The recipe I am looking to try is:
CLEOCHATRA'S BEST EVER REVOL-OOPSIE ROLLS 3 large eggs 1 packet of Splenda A dash of salt A pinch of cream of tartar 3 ounces cream cheese (not Tbsp!) Do not soften! Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Separate the eggs and add Splenda, salt, and cream cheese to the yolks. Use a mixer to combine the ingredients together. In a separate bowl, whip egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff (if you're using the same mixer, mix the whites first and then the yolk mixture). Using a spatula, gradually fold the egg yolk mixture into the white mixture, being careful not to break down the whites. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray and spoon the mixture onto the sheet, making 6 mounds. Flatten each mound slightly. Bake for about 30 minutes (You want them slightly softer, not crumbly). Let cool on the sheet for a few minutes, and then remove to a rack and allow them to cool. |

Good morning everyone. I slept till 11am today. No work, no school right now.
I just had espresso with coconut milk and a little bit of H&H. I get the real coconut milk from an asian online store. I has nothing in it but coconut. It's the best stuff for drinking and cooking in my opinion. Now, I am going to make scrambled eggs with some spices. That should keep me full for a few hours. Can we eat nuts in Induction?? |

Jonika, if its the traditional atkins, not for the first two weeks they say, but it also i think depends on your body. Some people the recommend having nuts to start with

Thanks eterprincess. I have almond flour cookies with hazelnuts left from last week. They are low-carb, made with stevia and erythritol. I don't want to waste them by throwing them out. I will eat them and will make no more for two upcoming weeks. I have only a few left...

Chocolate is a weakness for me, and everyone else in my office. We constantly have people bringing in italian pastries, buying costco bags of candy and hershey kisses, and I love to get a few to snack on.... thats the rough part. The 8 hours next to a jar of candy lol

B- Atkins shake (these things are expensive but I have school at 8am and I can never get myself to get up before 7).
L- half serving of Linda chesse pizza with a salad (cucumbers, iceberg lettuce, green peppers, green onions and 1 tsp of greek dressing) S- Atkins indulgence bar D- Going out so probably a salad or chicken marsala I am on day 9 of induction and I noticed that I am not really hungry that much also I am having trouble sleeping and have this weird taste in my mouth all the time. Anyone else experience this? For people with a sweet tooth, I tried the sugar free chocolate pudding with a little bit of HWC. Its great. I try to limit it because I am not sure if its allowed on induction or not but if you are really really craving something this will do the trick. I am so proud of everyone!! Today I had two small tuna patties (recipe on Linda's LC) for breakfast, an Unjury shake for lunch and then another as a snack. For dinner I plan on a nice salad with a grilled chicken breast from KFC. I'm not sure if any of you have tried this chicken, but trust me, it is addictive! I just have to make sure I eat. After having my protein which is mandatory since my WLS, I have no appetite.

Oh ladies, don't talk to me about chocolate.
I am a chocolate addict. I am waiting for chromium and L-glutamine to come in the mail so I can cut the cravings out of my life... Today, I made 2 scrambled eggs for lunch with a little bit of boiled red cabbage. It wasn't very tasty, but I think nothing is going to taste good to me for a few days. It's not sweet = it's not tasty @jmarch07 - we are the same. I am in the same exact trouble. Show me chocolate and I can't resist - especially after 6 when the day is over and we all watch TV or just hang around together.

Thanks ladies, I'm excited for the loss because I know if I stick to it, no cheats then it works.
Talk about temptation: I have a cabinet full of chocolate for the kids from Christmas and a half of HEB sheet cake with buttercream that my husband was thinking it was a great idea to buy Sunday since I was starting induction Monday...yea no |
