Laura, what a beautiful day in Louisiana. Really want to get out and play. I'm also interested in the Perfect Health diet on other plans. They have some nifty things I'm going to incorporate into my LC/NK plan. I'm going to add liver, bone broth, good sardines, greens, resistant starch and other things. The payload in health would be immense. And that's the most important thing for me right now.

Woohoo. Down from 234 to 232.4 overnight. Yes, I'll never let myself get caught with too low calories or proteins again. Played havoc with my weight all week.

I'll report in later for my daily counts. Everybody, miss you and safe.

Hi all. It has been a busy week at work and hasn't given me much time to check in. I weighed in at 172 this morning. I feel stuck in the low 170s and hope to see a whoosh when TOM is finished mid week. Hope everyone is doing well!

Hey guys, I am back on plan. Begrudgingly!!! I did not go to crazy off plan however and it showed on the scale. 7 days off plan and only gained a few pounds back. I am now working out while off plan and that helps also. Anyway will be posting again. Glad to see everyone doing well.\

Hi all. Checking in. Congrats on a loss Lindy! Welcome back Kemp! I slipped tonight when making cookies for my son's daycare teachers...ended up eating 2 cookies, oh and they had m&ms in it. Oh well, back on the wagon tomorrow and hope that scale doesn't jump to high.

Hey Laura and Terra and Kemp Hope everyone is as good as I feel today. I feel that my life has taken a new turn. I told you that Sunday I'm moving in with my neighbor and friend Freida. She's coming out of a nursing home and needs TLC.
I have been researching diets lately and feel the best for her is the Perfect Health diet. She doesn't need to lose any more weight. I will be going on it with her. Of course, my version is the weight loss one. I'll be having 75 g protein daily. 100 carbs (urk, this takes getting used to) and the rest is fats. Up to 1200 cal. Just a lot of good wholesome fresh food. No grain, corn, beans or sugar.
I'll report how its going.
I had my first baked potato in 3 months. Wow,

Lindy- Sounds like you have a plan, which is half the battle for me. Hope this plan gives you the results you're looking for.

Laura-Hope your new job goes well!

I weighed in at 170.6 this morning....going to really watch my diet this weekend, because I really want to see a number UNDER 170. TOM really threw off my losing the last 2 weeks, and I am tired of seeing the same numbers. 20lbs until goal, and I have a feeling this will be the longest and most difficult part of the journey.

Hey Lindy I'm still here. I dropped 2.2# down to 221.4 today I was so excited.

The move to the neighbors sounds exciting.

I ordered a pair of jeans the next size down last night. Can't wait till I can get in them. I have a huge pile in the top of my closet but I wanted something new to encourage me to keep going. I'm back in my size 16's now. They feel tight but they look fine. I think it's cuz I've been wearing such baggy stuff I"m not used to normal fitting clothes any more.

I will be out of pocket for a day or two. Moving tomorrow. Freida gets out of the hospital in the morning. Hope to be able to make her healthier and happy. I am lucky to have family locally. Hers are 6 hrs away. And her DS only has come once in 4 mo to see her in nursing home. Sheesh. My kids are very hands on. Lucky me.

Hey guys, can I come back? I have been so lost these past few months...trying to find my way back, but being so unsuccessful! DH and I are both sick and tired of being well, sick and tired! We need to change, so he is just cutting back and I am going to try to find something I can stick to. I will be giving an 1800 calorie plan a chance for a few weeks, and if no luck there, I will be back to LC. I want a baby pretty darn bad, and I need to get to at least 199 before I will do so, so that is hopefully going to be my motivation. I am just grasping here...trying to hang on!

Hope all had been well! Talk soon!

PS...I work nights now, so it will be hit or miss during the day, but the goal is to check in after work in the morning! Still trying to get used to these nights (although, I dont think you ever get "used" to it!)

Chelsey- Welcome back! Starting a new job is tough, especially making the switch to working nights. I think you will find it easier to stick to a plan now that you have your new routine set....at least I find I do better when I am working because it gives me less time to snack. Plus you have some awesome motivation....just focus on getting where you want to be so you can start trying for a baby.

I weighed in today at 174....up 4 lbs from last week.....this is the last week of my weight loss competition so I am staying strictly on plan hoping to drop down into the 160s!

Hope everyone is doing well and that everyone makes their way back to the thread! I am posting to stay accountable....I have stuck to plan since Monday and my 174 weigh in. Trying to stay under 10 carbs and keep my fat in take above 75% and protein under 75 grams. Weighed in today at 172.5....hoping to be at 170 or UNDER for my final weigh in on Monday morning. It looks like these last 22.5 lbs are going to be the hardest....focusing on being in the 150s by my beach vacation in 8 weeks!

Ok kiddos, I'm home. Did not work out with helping my neighbor. She has too much damage and I'm not strapping enough to lift her. What a miserable time. Sorry for her but she probably will need to go to a full time nursing home. I did find someone to help her in my place.

Totally not able to plan my diet while over there. I'm sure I'm up a few pounds. But you know it'll come off. So glad to be back. Missed talking to you...
