Induction daily menu
Hi there I'm new here. Did atkins many years ago with success but over the years the pounds have found me again. I am looking for anyone who would like to post their menus daily to give each other ideas of what to eat and what we should be eating. I am always looking for ideas especially for breakfast since I'm not a huge fan of eggs.

I would be happy to join you! I started back on atkins yesterday so we are at the same starting point. I am always reading the threads looking for menu ideas and during induction especially because you are a little more limited.
today's menu: B:2 fried eggs and 2 turkey sausage patties - coffee with HWC D: chicken marsala, broccoli and salad we went out to dinner and I looked at the menu before we left. The chicken marsala seemed to be the lowest in carbs so that was why I picked it. Trying to keep drinking!!! Have you ever had the ostrim sticks? They are ostrich meat sticks and are really good. I like to eat them for breakfast sometimes with a cheese stick. |

Menu today
B; protein shake with kale L: turkey meat stew with kale S: cheese stick D: steak with salad Where you asking about the ostrim sticks? Look on Amazon, I order from them directly since they come out cheaper then buying them in the store. I was up 1 lb this morning but hoping it was the marsala I had?? Maybe to salty? I was not a happy camper though. ![]() You can eat anything you want for breakfast!! |

Breakfast - coffee, HWC and coconut oil (I have just started the CO today) snack - salami and banana peppers - have just found these and am in love! 0g carbs! pretty spicy though.. Lunch - leftover steak sliced with some feta cheese Dinner - Shepherds pie with cheese crusted leeks - just made it subbing celery for the carrot to lower the carbs- cant wait to bake and eat later! Afternoon everyone
Slow start today, my youngest just came down with the flu so you know everything goes on hold. B: two hard boiled eggs S: ostrim stick L: salad with chicken, egg, cucumber and shredded parm cheese with ranch D: don't have any ideas yet As for the Adkins bars I never had luck with them. I have had the detour bars and I think the carb count was better. I am finding that whole "if man made it don't eat it" thing to be words to live by. I have the coconut oil everyday in my coffee. I have come to enjoy the flavor but I do have to drink it with a lid. The oil does tend to collect on top and the lid keeps you from getting one big mouth full of oil. I only have about 1tsp everyday. |

The CO is called Carrington Farms and I bought it at Costco. If you have a Vitamin Store around you, they have several brands that are good also. I just bought this one because it was cheaper and turned out to be good. The one at the Vitamin Store , i can't remember the name but it is in a white container and the label is yellow and green. It smells really good (if you like the smell of coconut)

Today:
Breakfast 3 eggs scrambled w/spinach,mushrooms and feta. Lunch Leftover chicken breast from last night I might throw it on a salad with oil and vinegar. Dinner I'm going to try to make sausage saurkraut casserole. I was at party a few day ago and they had saurkraut balls, god I love them. I didn't eat any. But its all I have thinking of. So I'm going to try to make it unto a casserole. Without the bread crumbs of course. |
