Hi ladies,
The scale wasn't mean but it wasn't very nice either. I lost 1lb this week. But hey, I got to eat some awesome food and I never felt hungr or deprived so a pound lost with barely an effort is good with me  biggestloser: Have fun on your trip. See you when you get back Menu today: I wasn't very hungry for breakfast so I had 2 boiled eggs (deviled) Lunch is leftover eggplant parmesian Dinner will be left over taco salad Snacks will be porkrinds and sour cream since everyone seems to think these are great

So here is what I learned from the experience: I need to communicate and plan with my honey BEFORE going to the theater! So that is what I would suggest you do. Does your hubby have to have popcorn or could he get by just sharing a large diet coke with you? That would be kind of cute. |

A very good point BL.... thankfully my husband is really on board with this and he will be happy if I pack him a toblerone bar or something and he likes pork rinds so I will definitely do that but remind him...NOOOOO Popcorn!! it's my nemesis. I can eat a large by myself. its like an addiction

Just for some accountability, I plan on checking in over the weekend. Being in social situations surrounded by food and wine is my downfall! So even if I take out some doughnuts, I'm going to post about it.

Mspartytime: Regarding pork rinds, I get the spicy ones and they don't have sugar. If you like spicy foods, I would recommend putting some Mexican style hot sauce (like Cholula or Tapatio) on the plain ones and then dipping in sour cream.

Ugh, here I gave advice on skinnurse's popcorn delimma and then I don't take my own advice. My husband took the boys to Monster Jam (monster truck racing) so me and my girls were having a girls night with a TinkerBell movie and of course popcorn. I broke and measured out 2 cups of popcorn as it listed it as 11g of carbs so hopefully I didnt completely throw myself out of ketosis. On an encouraging note, I ONLY HAD 2 CUPS instead of the giant 12 cup bowl I would normally scarf down.

Afternoon all
I am happily still on track sort of. My lunch was 2 Atkins bars - I was not hungry at all this morning and then I suddenly became famished and had nothing ready, so I picked the quickest thing to eat that would do the least damage. Tonight I have made myself a gorgeous stuffed cheeseburger that I am going to have with a small salad and mayo. So my learning point for today is not to wait until I am hungry as I may not always be able to make good choices at that point. |

hey skinnurse - you did not fail. you may have eaten a bit off plan but you did not fail. You only fail when you give up, the rest of the time they are little blips that we just get through.
I have had another little whoosh today and am now at the lowest weight I have registered this year, onwards and downwards!!!!!!! |

Hey folks! Had a biscuit with some gravy this morning. We were watching the Seahawks with a bunch of my bf's coworkers and I didn't want to do any special order or anything. It was silly, but I don't know these people and I just wanted to fit in or something. Arg! I did stay on plan all day yesterday except for a couple glasses of wine at the cocktail party and banquet. So overall feeling pretty good about the weekend. We're heading back home and I plan on doing some meal planning and grocery shopping later. When I have all my food ready to go, it's way easier.

Weekends are the worst for me! This weekend we were super busy and out and about town. I skipped breakfast Saturday and just had coffee and cream. Then lunch came and there were no really good options at the convenient store so I caved and got a snack bag of Lance's white cheddar popcorn (my ultimate weakness). Then for dinner the kids and hubby ate leftover tacos and I hurried to the store with only a diet Sunkist in my hand. Once at the grocery store, I got me a StarBUCKS Frappe and later that night a cup-o-noodles. boooooo! My overall calories weren't too bad as I barely ate anything BUT the carbs were terrible and I felt like crap all day Saturday.
My husband and I stayed up til 4am finishing up building our new 4 hole Rabbitry and I woke up at 8:30am needing only coffee for breakfast. So for lunch I had 3 scrambled eggs and some turkey bacon hoping to stay on plan but I was exhausted at dinner and caved into my homemade macaroni and cheese. I am just glad the weekend is over. I am going to weigh tomorrow to see how much damage my 2 obviously not induction worthy days did to the scale. I hope you all had a better weekend than I did. Jennifer ![]() |

Happy Monday! I would NEVER say this usually, but I'm glad to get back to work. The structure is great for my diet.
B: Cutting up some cheddar and rolling ham around it L: Left over frozen spinach lasagna from last week. Hoping this reheats well! D: Thawed out a whole chicken yesterday, so putting that in the crock pot. Need to pick up some veggies to steam or salad fixings. S: Atkins bar, and/or shake, and/or pork rinds. Depending on hunger Trying to get motivated to go for a walk/jog this morning but it's only 30 degrees out. Yikes! I have the layers though to be comfortable, just need to put them on and get out there. 12/31/12 208.6 1/2/13 208.2 1/3/13 207.4 1/4/13 205 1/5/13 205.2 1/6/13 205 1/7/13 204.8 1/8/13 206.4 1/9/13 no thank you Mr. Scale! 1/10/13 skip 1/11/13 206.2 1/12/13 204.2 1/13/13 skipped 1/14/13 204.8 1/31/12 Goal = 199 |

![]() Totally agree with this! The tough part about diets is getting back on track after a slip, not doing them 100% perfect 100% of the time. We're humans, so perfection is highly unlikely. Nice work on the weight loss, Jacquirsw! Very exciting! |

All the cooking on Sunday is horrible - but it's the only way I can make sure I can eat clean all week. And I'm getting to try a bunch of new receipes!

Welcome back pibble mama!
I totally recommend everyone letting us know your meal plans. For one, it's good to plan. Secondly, it gives the rest of us ideas for new things to eat! 2f2f - I like the idea of once a week cooking. One thing with all the scratch cooking is that there are tons of dishes to do. Seems like consolidating most of that into one day would be awesome. |
