Good morning!
I made the mistake of stepping on the scale this morning. Up to 207. I really don't feel like I'm getting anywhere making all this delicious food. I kind of think induction was more effective for me when I ate more simply/boring. So, time to get back to just meat and salad or meat and 2/3 cup steamed veggies!B: beef jerky L: left over hot & sour soup, the last of it D: George Foreman chicken thighs and 2 cups of salad greens measured S: Atkins bar |

Hi Ladies and gents (not sure, do we have any men on here?)
I tested myself last night before bed and I had trace amounts of ketones and then again this morning which was moderate so I am not sure what I am eating (or not eating) that would change it so much. I had a 2 egg salad this morning and the last of the leftover SHrimp for lunch. I plan on having some beef jerky (which was heavenly btw but expensive so I don't know that I will be making it that often). And for dinner I will have a taco Salad with the microwave cheese chips. I used pepper jack and it was spicy and super yummy. Aimee: If you are in the 200's than It is not too late. Feel free to join in. You can go back a few pages to read other peoples "bio's" and get caught up. If you are not in the 200's then there are other threads on here for people in lower weight ranges. The forum is a great source for information. Make sure to check out the food porn threads as they are super helpful in keeping things fun and not boring when it comes to Atkins induction foods. Biggestloser: I think going up and down a pound or two really is just water and not really worth fretting about. More than 2 though, and I would have to start worrying. There are people on this forum who have created some of those delicious food porn recipes and have been on induction for years and maintaining their weightloss so I don't think it's the good food. Hang in there. You don't want to get bored and stop enjoying your food either cause that leads to slips and food binges too. Happy induction ladies. Jennifer |

Hello
Can I come along??? I haven't seen onderland since the EARLY 90s I got REALLY close in 2007/08.......then, yeah.....back over 300 after having lost 150+lbs in 2004-2006. I did a few rounds of hcg last year...great kick start but that is not for me! I like to eat way too much for that! lol I lost the first time by SB and LOTS of walking (10+ mi a day!) I have ZERO desire to work out now days....just can't get back in that mind set! I was gonna drag myself out for a walk earlier...and it's raining....![]() I can't wait to get back to my lower weight and be SO close to the 100s! Everyone's menus look so good! Even though I lost all appetite about two days ago...sure sign of ketosis for me...i just want to cook! lol I started watching carbs a lot around october and then went full blown induction over last weekend. Weighed on Sunday and since then am down 4lbs since Sunday! 82 more to go! lol...Hope ya'll don't mind me jumping in! I need to be social and this helps a lot to be accountable! Single and work from home with two rescued bullies....i don't get out much! lol |

Ok, so far today:
B= Coffee w homemade coconut cream creamer and a dallop of whipped cream 2 poached eggs, 2 slices homemade bacon, handfull of chopped spinach, 1/2 avocado (this was around 10:30) L= 1/2 c crab and mayo salad w/ about 8 pork rinds S= 4 pork rinds dipped in sour cream ( i think i read this in a post earlier and wanted to try....OMGEEEEE!) D= 1 hamburger patty, 1C spinach sauteed w/ browned buter and garlic sprinkles, 1 heaping tbs homemade pimento cream cheese I typically drink around 120 oz water a day and i will not buy anything i can make at home....like right now I am playing with almond butter in my food processor (just almonds, a sprinkle of sea salt and some salted caramel SF syrup) to make fat bombs to keep in the freezer for those rare moments when I have to, will not be able to take another breath without something sweet! ![]() I will most likely have hot tea w/ a splash of whipped cream later before bedtime...maybe! I had to force my dinner...i really haven't been hungry! |

I have to ask...where are you from that you are Azorian? (did i spell that right?) I have never heard of that before....i guess I could google it...but wanted to ask you personally...well, as personal as an online forum can be! I am from Tx originally and love me some chorizo! I am going to try my best to stay sorta away from my dairy addiction! I have weaned myself off of HWC (via coconut cream!) the cheese has been a bit rougher and I KNOW the SC could become an addiction! It was good!!! |

Welcome,I too have no desire to exercise as of yet. It's funny that not being hungry is your sure sign of ketosis cause that is the same as mine. ALthough when I am in deep ketosis like full blown purple on the ketone strips I am starving. hehe Happy Induction. |

Up late tonight. Constipation is killing me. I always get really bad lower back pain when I am constipated. I know, TMI.
![]() I read that the CO can make you go so I was trying to figure out what to make with it and I ended up sauteing some shrimp with egg and crushed porkrinds. I added a little Old Bay seasoning and salt and pepper and surprisingly they came out a lot like the salt and pepper shrimp I used to get at the chinese buffet near me. (except mine didn't have the heads on) I am a little worried about the weigh-in in the morning due to this constipation. I would hate to have gained this week. So hopefully it won't mess me up too bad. I see everyone had a pretty good day. Good for you Ladies! We can do this! |

I use a product called Co-clenz. It keeps me going when I need it. I take it when I feel that I am starting to reach constipation.

Morning All
A small loss on the scales today but not enough to take me to my pre totm weight yet. I have not decided what to eat yet for the day. I have very little motivation for food which is novel but to be honest I know that I need to be organised as otherwise it can all go terribly wrong. I just have no desire to cook when I am not hungry even though I know it will mean I have good choices ready for when I am. |

Good morning!
Sooo happy it's Friday! We're heading down to Portland, OR for a business meeting of my bf's this weekend. Should be a good time! A friend of mine moved there recently, so I'll be able to hang out with her while he's in meetings tomorrow. I'm bringing a TON of low carb snacks so I'll always have stuff stashed in my purse just in case! We're going to be visiting the Japanese Gardens tomorrow which are supposed to be pretty amazing. Hopefully I'll get a lot of walking in over the weekend. And then Seahawks on Sunday. Go Hawks! I won't have my computer with me, but I'll probably check in now and again with my iPhone. These boards have been so motivational for me; totally love it! Meal Plan - B: beef jerky L: left over chicken stir fry from last night - super good Thai style. Yum! D: buffalo chicken wings with blue cheese S: cheesecake, pork rinds & sour cream Gosh, really love the food I'm eating! Weighed in a 206.2. Won't be taking a scale with me, so next weigh in will be Monday. Got to stay on track this weekend!!! 12/31/12 208.6 1/2/13 208.2 1/3/13 207.4 1/4/13 205 1/5/13 205.2 1/6/13 205 1/7/13 204.8 1/8/13 206.4 1/9/13 no thank you Mr. Scale! 1/10/13 skip 1/11/13 206.2 1/31/12 Goal = 199 |

jacquirsw - I know how you feel not wanting to deal with food/cooking. Really, I just get sick of the cleaning! Just have some snacks around for when you're ready to eat! What is this cheeseburger pie you speak of??
Pibble Mama - So do you live on a farm? That's cool that you have chickens and make so much of your food. Like homemade bacon! Do you have a smokehouse? Mspartytime! Good luck with you're weigh in! I'm excited for you! Hope your digestive system starts cooperating. That is no fun at all. 2f2f - 8 pounds down so far?? Sweet! Strong work! Babyphat - Have a good workout today! I'm planning on doing my walk/jog interval training and some weight lifting. It feels super good to get back to the regular exercise and I'm excited to tone up! |
