I weighed in this morning at 159.8 which is about 4 lbs Up from Dec 27th when I last weighed. I'm 5 days past surgery and still really swelled so I am pretty happy with that weight! Especially since I haven't been eatting like I Know I should. Been eatting more for ease and availability then LC. But then again I haven't been Able to cook. So my goal for January is 153 Again! Lol! It'll be another 5-6 weeks before I can start exercising but I Can eat better in the mean time! And I will!

I have gone up to 162 and would like to be 155 by the end of January.

I had a full health check yesterday and my stats are all good including my cholesterol which has gone down since it was last checked

Well, now that I'm focused on losing again and not maintaining, my goal for January is really just to be solidly in onederland, not just flirting with it like I was back in September. :P This morning I was 203.8lbs, so I think an ambitious goal for this month would be 197lbs.

Oh I was 210lbs 4 days ago, gotta love the Christmas carbs/water retention! Good for the scale though.

Good morning all! I hope you dont mind if join you? I have been lurking for a while and have decided that it is time to join you all in the challenge after a pretty naughty christmas and new year! I started out in August at 238 and went down to 215 but after weighing in this morning am back to 222! not a good start to the new year but i am committed to seeing this through. Since being on Atkins and cutting out bad carbs i have felt really good and I plan on sticking this out and finally for once and for all losing this excess baggage! So my goal for the month of January is 212lbs - I am kind of hoping that most of the 7lbs i put on is water! LOL!

Morning! Feeling pretty good this morning!
Jan Goal- 153
Jan 1st- 159
Jan 2nd- 157!

Can tell my abdomen area is still swelled from my surgery so don't know if That has anything to do with my weight. I know i'm not eatting as much now as I did before surgery, just not very hungry. But i'm Battleing the sweet cravings again! It's My fault because I was eatting regular yogurt to try to keep constip and yeast away. It helped but man i'm craving sweets again like crazy!

Good morning everyone!

Welcome new challengers/challengees! Because we are all challenging ourselves, right?
I had chicken wings yesterday at a place I'd passed many times but never stopped-- a soul food restaurant outside of DC in a former Roy Rogers, I think. It was mostly fried fish but they had buffalo wings too, and they were GOOD! I usually order hot wings and I take the skin off before dipping into the blue cheese. That way, I eat less and it's not so fiery hot that i can't stand it.

In the morning, on the way to work, I sometimes stop at one of those Korean food bars and get some scrambled eggs and maybe a small sausage. i nibble on it for most of the day. Yep, I don't mind cold scrambled eggs one bit.

I went back over the past 11 years tracking where i've posted my weights, and found that my lowest weight was 139.5. I was probably too thin at that weight, and I'm not sure that I want to get there in 2013, but I'd love to be able to fluctuate between 140 and 145. As I tell my friends who tell me that I've lost enough weight (and I haven't - I still have too much stomach and bust) -- I still have some clothes I'd like to fit into at least one more time!

Here's to a successful January to all!
Jan. 3: 147 (It was really 146.75 this morning but I'm going to pad it up for my January start date)

Lost 40 pounds back then and maintained for almost 8 years...then carb creep crept. I've always been low carb, but went hard core again in March 2012.

Evening all (well it's evening for me in the uk!) weighed in this morning and I'm a pound down to 161, pleased with that. hope eveone else is having a good day? Didn't eat much today as i had lots of errants to run but here's my diary....

I haven't started induction yet, trying to get my momentum going....but figure this is a good place to start back. I want this to be my last ditch effort to get healthy again and lose the weight once and for all. I will be lurking until I get my food and menu's made, should be in the next couple of days. I need someplace to be held accountable and the lcf boards have helped me in the past! I haven't weighed in ages, so will do that too and will post all this by Friday or Saturday.....will keep up with you all in the meantime! I need to read up on my basics....has been a while since I've done induction, need to refresh my memory of the allowables.

Hi there! You need to eat and focus on eating not losing, fill up on LC foods and don't worry too much about limiting your portions until you settle down and your body adjusts to no carbs - good luck
