Way to go mydear!!!you're in the 30s!! Fantastic work everyone!
Shelly ...yep you are adjusting post-surgery so don't sweat it..but it's a great idea to do all eggs for a day.. Or meat and eggs for two days!
I have a day off today, so part of the day will be cleaning house. Good times!

Lost 40 pounds back then and maintained for almost 8 years...then carb creep crept. I've always been low carb, but went hard core again in March 2012.

It's on Linda Sue's website (under the ground beef section) - it's Coney Island something lol. There is hamburger, Faux rice (cauliflower), hotdogs and cheese in it along with some seasonings. It's pretty good.

Morning all! Have been MIA for awhile but back now! I have been pretty good apart from Saturday when i accidentally fell head first into the kids giant bowl of popcorn! how does that happen? i can walk past the chocolate but popcorn.. sigh!! At least it had butter and parmesan on it right?

Ok, I have been away. Hate to say it but I fell off the wagon again for a short time. I'm back though luckily it was only like a week this time, not a year! I joined a challenge group at my gym to help keep me on track! It's 12 weeks long so after 12 weeks I should definitely be committed and not worry about messing up too bad!

Hey everyone, it's been 15 days since I first posted; and started out at 265, I am down 8 pounds; my goal doe January is 15 lbs.

I am finding myself getting really bored with induction food; but I will push through it. The first week back on induction I felt like I was starving. Now I find I need to remind myself to eat.

Hope you all are sticking to it, and losing!

YAY!! you've hit the "forget to eat" stage. Change up your menu as much as your time, money, and induction will allow.


Check out limetwist's blog if you can, she has some amazing recipes to prepare different kinds of meats and almost all look induction friendly and easy.

Good morning all. I'm back.

DQ-it has always been a head game for me. Once I get my brain to realize what I need to do, I'm golden.....

Last night I believe was my 'aha' moment. I have been having some itching problems with the skin under my belly flap(hate to call it that, but don't know what else it would be). I finally looked at it last night and is so red and inflamed, couldn't stand the itching any more. I got on the internet to see if there was anything I could do that would help. Tried multiple things including using a sock to keep the moisture at bay and keep me from scratching. I read that one of the bad side affects the scratching is a staff infection and don't even want to go there. I don't know if it is a fungal infection or yeast infection, tried my husbands foot spray last night, that didn't help much, tried Miconazole cream(sp?) this morning, it is helping a little bit, but still itching. Have to get this weight off. it is not only causing mental issues with me, but now is causing really embarassing physical issues. I didn't even want to tell dh this morning, but he walked in when I was putting the sock there and looked at me really weird.

THEN I got on the scale and was up to 219.5 Up 5 lbs. Dang it. So, this is it. Sick of it, so down we go!

Today's menu:

B: eggs, bacon
L: salad with ranch
D: baked chicken with green beans
snack : slice of cheese
water water water and 20 minutes walking(will increase as I go) IF I can go longer, I definitely will!

nice to see so many new challengers... it's motivation to stay focused and to keep making the right food choices, and you new challengers get motivated to hang in there to get the results that you wants.... thanks for joining us.
