I've been back to lurking, can't seem to get over that yuck feeling once you get on induction. I started feeling bad Wednesday evening, so ate what I wanted to that night and yesterday. I have to get over this hump, once I get over it and get it right in my head then I'm good to go.....just have to get there.

Everyone is doing such a good job! WTG!

sueshe -- Try thinking this way: It's all in your head. Something needs to trigger inside your head and it will be a little light bulb going off. THEN you will be ready to start and be true to induction. But it won't work until you are REALLY ready to dedicate yourself to the plan. The key is inside your head.

Good morning all! I have a full blown cold.
Yesterday was the first time since March that I was actually tempted.....some good friends we in from the UK and we went out to eat. We went to a cool new restaurant and ...seriously...the only thing that I could eat that didn't come with carbs and didn't cost a mint was a mussels appetizer which i had as my main. Food was good...others had brisket, rockfish, crabcakes...then the others orderd dessert... Sorbets and ice cream, all made there at the restaurant. One of the flavors? Gorgonzola ice cream!!!I so wanted to try it!

But I didn't. I told myself that I can go back when I get to ultimate goal and try it then!
So, one small victory!

Lost 40 pounds back then and maintained for almost 8 years...then carb creep crept. I've always been low carb, but went hard core again in March 2012.

So the scales finally moved and ive lost 2.4 lbs, it's not a quick as I'd like but im happy that it's going in the right direction. I know I have too many coffees with HWC but if I lose steadily I'm happy!

Happy Sunday everyone. I weighed this morning and am at 245 - seems unlikely that I lost 3 1/2 pounds since Friday so I will wait to change my stats on my official weigh day on Tuesday.

dont get frustrated princess.. just stay on plan after a major surgery your body has a lot of re adjusting to do....

Ok, i didn't fall off the bandwagon this weekend...it run me smack over! lol....i'm not beating myself up though. I had the BEST time with great friends, good people...totally forgot about yet ANOTHER cheating boyfriend and was even hit on and told by several others that I was rather pretty and or beautiful!~ HAHA! I needed that dose of moral...so this morning was zucchini ribbons sauteed in butter and coconut oil that I had fried an egg and cooked a steak in with my coffee! THAT is what I normally eat, so I don't even foresee cravings or anything! I'm really lucky in that i really do love lc foods! I am gonna OD on water though to push the chemically laden junk and excess salt out of my veins! lol...i'm gonna wait a few days before i get on the scale! I KNOW i'm "puffy!"
