Congratulations, Bella, you've made GREAT progress! I'm always so impressed by your monthly progress.

I'm using a garment called a "squeem." It's a rubbery corset that has two levels of hooks -- you start on the first set of hooks on the garment and then work your way down to the smaller set of hooks, which would make your waist an inch smaller. It's quite uncomfortable in the beginning, but I've been wearing it every day since October 1st and I've gotten used to it. "Squeems" are popular among Latin women -- in search of what's called the "guitarra" figure -- and my cousins who've had babies swear it's the only thing that helped them get their tummies back in shape. I believe the garment originated in Brazil, and I've read that a lot of South American pageant queens use them.

well, i'm down 1.2lbs from last week. i'll take it. i have 1.5lbs to go then i can move my marker down another 5lbs. hopefully by the end of the month i'll be on the "last half" of my fatloss journey.

it's started snowing here. i must go out soon. should make the roads interesting to drive with all those impatient drivers! they never seem to learn to slow down when there's snow on the road and they follow way too close and end up rearending other people who are being careful.

Margame last winter we got 1 snow fall and it lasted a day. Yr before though we got a Lot. 1 snow fall was 18 inches up here on the mountain where we live. The kids missed a whole week of school! I'd love at least 1 good snow this yr

Hi everyone, i know we are getting close to the end of October but Im kind of new and am wondering about this challenge? I could use a weight challenge. Is it too late? What kind of challenge? Ill get this site down sooner or later. And Id probably get more out of this forum site than wasting time on Facebook, lol.

Oh i get it now I think! Awesome. Ive only lost 4 pounds so far this month. Its crazy the first time I did Atkins I lost weight fast with no excersize but now Im doing Zumba and it seems ti be taking forever. Has anyone else experienced this?

You'll get there! And won't it feel EXTRA good when you're finally in the 240s?!

I don't really sweat scale numbers BUT I've been "on the verge" of a size 12 for so long, I will absolutely lose my mind when I can finally, comfortably wear a size 12. Size 12 isn't my ultimate goal, but I've been so close for so long that finally hitting that size 12 milestone will feel like a significant change.
