Halloween is lurking.

Hi All,
I've noticed the stores are begining to stock Halloween treats. This scares me because there is nothing I love more than miniture chocolate bars. Feeling stressed and its only August 22nd!

I think I may have to make some surgar free treats to get me through the season even if this means going onto OWL.

Thoughts?

I saw 2 ailes full of that stupid nasty candy last night! I would definetly make a lc treat for yourself. It's Way better then caving and eatting candy lol
when I want something chocolate I take hwc, sweetner and a pinch or so of baking choco and whip it together. You can either chill it in the fridge Or freeze it so it's more like ice cream. Yum!

Aliekatt, I found my new loves... Atkin's Treats:

Atkin's Endulge Carmel Nut Chew Bar (taste like Snicker's)

Atkin's Endulge Peanut Butter Cups

Both 2 grams of carbs per bar. These are smaller than the average Atkin's bar so it kinda hurts to buy them at $5+ per box but let me tell you... they are the CLOSEST thing I've ever found to tasting like REAL CANDY BARS. I've even had my co-worker who is thin as a rail try a bite and I said "What does that taste like to you?" She immediately replied Snickers and said she would buy those over the real thing since its so close and there is less sugar.

Here's the thing... you have to be careful because too many in the same week and you could be kicked out of ketosis or even gain. I allow myself one and every other day and if it so happens that I think I can make it without then I skip that day. I have had issues in the past stalling over Atkins Bars but they were the full-size bars and there were a lot of nuts. I put mine in the fridge so I can't gobble them as fast and I savor each bite so it feels like I'm getting more for my craving AND money.

Seriously... give it a shot... at least to get you thru Halloween.

I will definately have a couple hanging around just in case. Nothing, not even a little chocolate bar, is worth going back to sugar addiction. NOTHING.

My Halloween plan is to pick out candy that I don't like and buy a bag on Halloween afternoon, then bring leftovers to work the next morning.
