Sorry Heather, didn't answer you..... we decided we liked the green in the living room .... see my avi pic..... you can see it in the background. We just went a little lighter green - windows are framed in white. Will paint a beige/light brown color in dining room/kitchen. It's all an open floor plan so you kinda need to not clash the colors. The boy's hallway is beige and I'm gonna paint it green also ~~ you can see all these sitting in the living room.

Hoping to get floors redone . Take up this awful carpet and get new countertops..... We'll see......... need to win the lotto ladies !

July 28 is my one year anniversary of LC ...... I lost the majority of my weight the 1st 3-4 months and have been cheating and cycling the same 5-7 lbs since then. Man, I need to get real and decide if I WANT IT !!

Can't believe it when I stop and think about it like that . Need to get to goal and stop maintaining !

Oh my goodness, chatty Kathy's

Heather I like the sweet colored ones better than the jalapeno pepper.
You dont have to worry about hot if you dont want it.

Hey! Leave me out of the eating contest!!!
No-way~

laura I like that color green..Me and linda mastered the maintaining part w/weight lol!
You can do it just set your mind to it if it works..If its not working try something els.

I picked some more zucchini out of mine yesterday mel....And one was hiding from me that I didnt see growing out of the side of the garden box....OMG it got big..A little to big, but I diced it up for eating.

Made those balls I calculated 62cals and 2 carbs per ball..I made them smaller..And added some nuts this time you can hardly tell they are there..I mainly like these for the fiber.

Just got home about an hour ago and had to have a beer. Long day. I have 1 client that is almost and hour a way, so it such a pain to have to drive that far. But her Mom is my other client. And she pays extra. So nice and comfy to see this thread up and running. I love it. Be back later to catch up. Have friends coming over for cook out. Darn DH invites people over and then tells me. I'm the only one that works

Linda did you see the infomercial on Food Lovers ? Well my neighbor bought it and has lost so much weight. Slowly but steady. I've seen it but didn't want to pay over 100.00 for something that could or couldn't work. So she gave me the info and I see how balancing lc and high carbs could be a life time thing. Going to read more. I maybe switching plans for the umteen time. LOL

lol - yes many times I have. And thought twice of getting it except....I found out the founder Robert Furgeson has dissed that company for philosophical and ethical reasons. He no longer is attached to that product.

Then, Robert Fergueson wrote a book called "Diet Free for Life" and I bought it. I can tell you in a nutshell what it's about but it is the same as what they're peddling except you don't get recipes or cards or exercise stuff. In fact, he is gong to come out with another book or program soon. I am friends w/him on my facebook and he and I have talked online.

DietFreeforlife is the website.

It's about food combining: Fast Carbs, Slow Carbs, Protein at a meal. Eat every 3 hrs w/that combo or just protein and carb together for a snack. It's low fat protein and treats cheese as a condiment. I sold the book because it didn't seem to work out for me to eat every 3 hrs and I didn't notice anything different. I wished it worked for me because it is a good easy plan if you don't mind and can eat every 3 hrs.

I wanted to mention the book because it's a lot cheaper than the KIT.

Robert Ferguson thought the KIT was overpriced and the Provida Mega Corp are just hawking for big bucks. So, he wrote the book to make it affordable to all. He's a good man and very Christian oriented.

Laura,
I'm come to your cleaning party but you need to make those low carb margaritas for me. After a few, I might even enjoy cleaning.

See, you hadda show those poppers. Now I will be grocery shopping for the peppers, cream cheese and bacon. How many are you going to eat, hmmm? I will have to start practicing for our food eating contest!

Thanks for the recipes, girls.

Misty that sounds good, w/the beer.
I dont normally like those but the saltyness sounds good to me right now..It all of a sudden got humid cause of the time of day it is right now..(The hottest part)

Linda I never looked into that with the food combining...But have heard about it some.

lauraGot you to making poppers Enjoy!
Happy painting....Its a great workout!
That would be a blast to come over and have margarita's and have a cleaning party.

Mel - great on the boots and would you wear them with a nice denim skirt by chance?

Heather - how are things going today for you?

I am not maintaining right now - GAINING - YIKES! So I do not qualify for the maintainer club.

A whoosh would be great.

Maybe my 5 lb gain is muscle? NOT

Enjoy that beer Misty. I feel like belting a few down right about now.

Are you friends enough w/the neighbor to maybe borrow it for a little while?

Just curious, was your neighbor very overweight? Sometimes I think people can lose faster and easier when they are very overweight. With myself, I am not clinically overweight but it's scary how the pounds each year are climbing. I don't want it to get out of hand and better yet, I want to lose down to my healthy weight of 140 lbs.

Hey everyone

Misty I had a beer too - you might like to try this it's Michelob Ultra Amber. It has 95 calories only and 3.2 carbs. Not too bad. I have enough calories for one more but we'll see. I might just leave it at that.

I am within calorie count but dinner was kinda small so I'm leaving it open for now and see if I get hungry again or not. Hopefully not.

Laura, Jo mmmm poppers

Heather Hope you enjoyed the swimming at your friend's house. Sounds like you and the girls need to chill a little. I missed you but I got sidetracked with the other junk !!

Linda You've done an excellent job maintaining ... I'm sure this is just temporary setback and you'll find your groove again and get those last lbs off and feel better.

UGH Menopause..I have two pimples this week all the sudden - one near my lip and one on my chin !! I have a medicine I use that zaps them pretty good in a night so hopefully they'll be less visible tomorrow.

Linda, I DO remember that commercial! Lol. Guess I'm older than ya thought. Hehe Things have been okay today. The girls slept late. Then at 4 we went to swim at Debbie's (My older lady friend). We ended up goint to get salad stuff and staying for dinner. I had a fried egg(she always does this for me because she knows I don't eat carbs) salad, and some squash & green beans.

Laura, I like the green! I would never be brave enough to try to do anything like that but LOVE it when others have color in their home.

Jo, I want to try to make those flax balls soon

Lv, We did have fun swimming. It was cold at first. Tomorrow we will be relaxing and waiting to see if my sister arrives.

I am brilliant at maintaining!! It's the losing I'm not so great at.

Food today was:
2 eggs, 3 sausage links
2 fried eggs
1 fried egg, salad, squash, green beans
